A husband is slammed online after he humiliated his wife at their son’s first birthday party, leaving her in tears.
TikTok user @candie1983 shared a video on her account in which her husband ruined one of the happiest days of her life – her son’s first birthday party.
The clip showed the woman and her husband celebrating the joyous occasion of their son’s birthday with a cake placed in front of the little one. The moment was recorded by several friends and family members who were gathered to celebrate the day with the couple.
But all of a sudden, the husband lifted the cake in his hands and smashed the entire thing into his wife’s face leaving her shocked and annoyed.
The wife (unnamed) could be seen in the video with her face all covered in cake. She claimed she cried after the fiasco as she wanted to take lots of pictures with her son and her family to cherish the moment forever.
“The time I wanted to choke my husband for putting out son smash cake in my face, surrounded by family I had just met for the first time,” she wrote alongside the video on TikTok.
“I had long look forward to our son first party and the family pictures… we didn’t get but one photo before I had to shower. Not sure why he thought this was a good idea… I cried like a baby at the memories lost, cake was even cut while I showered,” she told her followers.
“If he does this ever again, he won’t live to talk about it,” the woman concluded.
The video has been viewed by over 5 million people on the platform and has received thousands of likes and comments all bashing the man for his ‘rude and narcissistic behavior.’ Many users even called him a ‘walking red flag.’
“I just feel like this is so hurtful. Like why would he do that? It all was so cute before that and then totally ruined,” one wrote in the comments.
