You never want to delude yourself into thinking that someone is really into you even when they aren’t. It just happens way too often these days. People misread signs and signals, and they end up fooling themselves into believing something that they shouldn’t.
And that’s the quickest way to set yourself up for heartbreak and disappointment. And you never want that kind of pain for yourself. And so that’s why it’s always important to know just where you stand in a relationship. It’s always important for you to know how a guy feels in relation to you. You should never be content with being misled or being deceived especially when it comes to your feelings.
However, there is just no denying the fact that there are a lot of guys out there who can mislead women with their feelings (whether intentionally or not). We must all know by now that men typically aren’t going to be so skilled at being open and communicative with their emotions.
And that’s why it can be really hard to tell just how they’re feeling or what they’re thinking about a certain person. But that doesn’t mean that you have to be content with being kept in the dark with regards to his feelings. You deserve to know how he feels about you even when he refuses to open up to you.
So this means you need to be able to take matters into your own hands. You have to be able to read the signs; read between the lines. Take a look at your relationship and see if a lot of the stuff on here apply to him. If not, then it’s probably because he doesn’t like you as much as you think.
1. He takes the initiative in planning dates with you.
He really puts in the effort in trying to get closer to you. He knows that dates are very intimate tools that he can use to build and strengthen his connection with you. And he’s not going to take your dates for granted at all.
2. He makes compromises for the sake of making you happy.
He considers your happiness to be of utmost importance to him. And so that’s why he’s willing to take a backseat for the sake of you every once in a while. He wants to put your happiness above his own because he cares about you that much.
3. He introduces you to his group of friends.
He really wants you to play an important role in his life. He really wants to immerse you in his world. And so that’s why he introduces you to his group of friends. He will do whatever he can to make you feel like you have open access to his life.
4. He makes you feel understood and accepted for who you are.
He always tries to give you a safe space for expression. He wants to make you feel like you can freely express yourself in however way you want because you aren’t going to be judged or criticized for it. He always makes you comfortable with being yourself.
5. He pays attention to the little things that you say.
He doesn’t just brush off your thoughts and feelings. He really listens to you because he values whatever you might have to say.
6. He makes you feel included when he’s planning for the future.
He wants to make you feel like he doesn’t have a future that doesn’t include you. He wants to make sure that you know that his idea of a future is one that always has you in it. And that’s why he includes you when making plans for the future.
7. He stays honest with you even if it makes him uncomfortable.
Honesty isn’t always easy. And you probably already know that. So consider it a good sign if he always does his part in being honest with you. He always wants to show you his true self so that you can grow to eventually trust him with all your heart.
8. He always supports you with your goals and dreams.
He isn’t a speedbump that you’re going to have to endure. He isn’t a roadblock that you’re going to have to work around. He is a supporter – a cheerleader. He will always push you towards your goals and dreams because he knows how important they are to you.
9. He really spends time with you.
He understands that one must always be willing to dedicate time to the most important things in life. And he considers you to be important and so that’s why he spends so much time with you.
10. He genuinely opens up to you about how he feels.
And of course, the biggest sign that he is genuinely into you is if he actually opens up about how he feels about you. Consider yourself lucky to be with a guy who is willing to come clean about his feelings for you. You shouldn’t take that for granted.
