If you are truly in love with someone, then you should always give that person the space to grow on their own. You don’t get the right to lambast them for having goals and dreams. You shouldn’t blame them for being so confident even though you are crippled by your own insecurities.
You shouldn’t hold them back from becoming who they’re meant to be just because you’re unsure of who you want to be. You should never trap a person that you’re supposedly in love with. You should never be serving as a person’s shackles. If you truly are in love with this person, then you would always give them the freedom to go out and fly. You should always give them the encouragement that they need to actually forge their own paths.

You always want to be giving that person the extra push so that they will be forced to fly out and seek adventures on their own. You need to be the one who is constantly pushing them towards where they need to be in life.

I absolutely agree with this sentiment if you TRULY do love someone you unselfishly allow them to grow while following their own paths in life that lead them on the road to success in their ambitions. You should never stifle someone from becoming the best version of themselves. Be brave enough to let them go & have faith enough they will come back to you.
