If you were truly in love with someone, you wouldn’t continue to live a life of a single person.

If you were truly in love with someone, you wouldn’t have to shield your phone from their view because you wouldn’t want them to find out who you’re texting or what you’re saying. If you’re truly in love with someone, you wouldn’t have to hide your phone’s contacts under fake usernames just to fool your significant other. You wouldn’t have to make the effort to constantly clear your phone’s messages on a daily basis. You wouldn’t have to put so much time into making sure that certain aspects of your life are kept hidden from your partner. If you were truly in love with someone, ten you wouldn’t really have to answering late night phone calls in a hushed tone and you wouldn’t have to be lying about where you’re getting these phone calls from.

If you were truly in love with someone, then you wouldn’t be wasting your time on Tinder anymore. You wouldn’t be interested in exploring your options with anyone else because you would be completely content with the person that you’re already with. If you were truly in love with someone, you would no longer be fantasizing about what it would be like for you to be single again to be exploring your options. You wouldn’t crave the thrill of the chase anymore because you’ve already found yourself someone with whom you can be contented. If you were truly in love with someone,

you would no longer waste your time by innocently flirting with other people just for the fun of it you wouldn’t do that because you know that it would upset your partner even if you didn’t have any real intentions behind your actions. If you were truly in love with someone, you wouldn’t continue to live a life of a single person. You haven’t been single for quite a long while and you should start acting like a mature individual who is in a committed relationship with someone. If you were truly in love with someone, you wouldn’t be lying about the fact that you’re in a relationship. You wouldn’t be hiding your feelings.

You wouldn’t be presenting yourself as an individual who is still on the market. You wouldn’t be making yourself available to other people anymore. If you were truly in love with someone, you wouldn’t be misleading other people with your own relationship status. You wouldn’t be handing out your phone number left and right. If you were truly in love with someone, you would automatically shut down any romantic advances that other people might make on you. If you were truly in love with someone, you wouldn’t be allowing yourself to get drunk and lose control. You wouldn’t be putting yourself in a position to actually betray your partner.

If you were truly in love with someone, you wouldn’t be making yourself susceptible to situations of cheating at all. You would always make it a point to be careful because you know that anything you might or say impacts your partner in such a heavy way. If you were truly in love with someone, you wouldn’t be texting your old flames and former hookups anymore. If you were truly in love with someone, you wouldn’t need a back-up plan anymore because you are sure that what you have is already the most you could ever want. If you were truly in love with someone, you would never make other people think that they have a shot at landing you.

You would practically place an invisible Not available sign on your forehead just so people get the message that you’re really not interested in them. If you were truly in love with someone, you wouldn’t be spending nights out at the club without that person in the first place. You wouldn’t be grinding and grooving all up in somebody else’s business. You wouldn’t be dancing with anyone else because you should only be dancing with one person and that person’s not there at the moment. You wouldn’t be making out with random strangers. You wouldn’t be hitting on other people. You wouldn’t be asking for other peoples’ phone numbers.

If you were truly in love with someone, you wouldn’t do anything to make that person question your love for them. You would never give them an excuse to doubt how you feel. You would never give them a reason to second-guess the love that you supposedly have for them. You wouldn’t be playing games and testing their patience by purposely making them feel jealous. You wouldn’t be feeding on their insecurities and manipulating them. If you were truly in love with someone, you would do everything in your power to make that person feel comfortable and stable with you. You would do whatever you can to be a reliable, loving, and dependable partner.
