An influencer shared all the birthday gifts her 44-year-old boyfriend gave her, including a Gucci ring and £450 in cash.
Ellie Liptrot, from Wales, met her boyfriend, Mark, through mutual friends during a night out in late 2021 when she was only 18. Ellie, who recently turned 21, moved in with Mark after a few months of dating. In June 2022, Mark’s two children also moved in with them and started calling Ellie their stepmother.
The couple, with a 23-year age difference, went to Thailand to celebrate Ellie’s birthday. Ellie shared with her followers on TikTok the gifts she received, starting with a Gucci ring.
“He did get it five sizes too small, so we had to go back and swap it for a bigger one. It’s really, really cute,” said Ellie.
Ellie then wore the ring, which cost about £220. It features two sterling silver bands with an interlocking design in the middle. Dressed in an emerald green string bikini and striped shorts, the content creator then showed off a stack of cash.
“Next he gave me 21,000 Thai baht [£450]. Shopping haul pending because I definitely going to go on a shopping spree today,” she added.
She then laughed at the next present Mark gave her, an £8 yellow book titled “The Good Wife Guide.”
“Mark’s favourite gift that he got me was the Good Wife Guide, a guide on how to be a good wife.”
Her boyfriend, whom she met when she was 18 and he was around 41 years old, gave her a special 21 charm for her bracelet as a gift. This charm, which cost £24, was something she had always wanted for her 21st birthday.
Additionally, Mark surprised her with the Augustinus Bader Rich Cream, a luxury skincare product priced at £145 for a 30ml tube. He also gave her the Naturium Vitamin C Complex Serum, which retails for £22 for a 30ml bottle.
“This is my all-time favourite moisturiser but I just never want to spend the money on it so I am so glad he got me it and he did actually get me the big one,” said Ellie. “He uses all of this brand so he decided to get me this, probably just so he can pull it off me.”
Ellie’s boyfriend also topped up her £39 Charlotte Tilbury Flawless Filter foundation and surprised her with a box full of additional beauty products valued at around £40 to £60.
Mark gifted Ellie a cuddly Jellycat toy priced at £30, calling it “so cute.” Additionally, she received a £16 devilled egg one.
“I’ve got so many of the little Jellycats now, I actually love them because they are so small,” she said in her video.
The TikToker opened three packets of the Free Soul green powder, each priced at £24, along with a Laneige lip kit costing £24, a mini Huda Beauty loose powder priced at £19, and a Pink Honey bronzer priced at £17.
She also received a pack of white Adanola socks for £22 and three Bearbrick boxes priced at £9 each. Ellie mentioned that she wants to start collecting these little bear figurines because she’s loves them.
Ellie also received sweet treats like a giant £2.50 Cadbury chocolate bar, a box of £6.30 Lindt Lindor chocolates, and some healthy snacks such as yogurt, chia seeds, and grapes. For her birthday, she was taken to the Cafe Del Mar beach club in Phuket, where Mark’s children gave her a step-mum birthday card and treated her to all her favorite things from 7/11.
“I don’t know about you, but I think that Mark has done a really good job and he’s also promised me a Ninja Creami when I get home,” she continued. “He told me was gonna get me a Ninja Creami and now he’s trying to go back on it, so you owe me [one].”
Many people on TikTok took to the clip to reveal their thoughts about the video.
