The Pitch Perfect actor is asking fans not to confuse him with Maroon 5’s Adam Levine amid his flirting and cheating scandal.
Adam Patrick Davine, popular as Adam Devine, is an American actor, singer, screenwriter, comedian, and producer.
He is among the stars and co-creators of the comedy television series Workaholics and Adam Devine’s House Party. Devine also played the role of Bumper in the musical films Pitch Perfect and Pitch Perfect 2.
Some of his other notable projects include Modern Family, Jexi, Game Over, Man, Workaholics, When We First Met, Magic Camp, Isn’t it Romantic, and The Righteous.
Three days ago, Devine took to his Instagram and shared a stunning photo with his wife, Chloe Bridges.
The Modern Family actor also wrote a sarcastically hilarious caption alongside his photo and trolled the alleged cheater, singer Adam Levine.
“Just want to post this and say that my wife @chloebridges and I are doing great and going strong. I am not Adam Levine. He’s a different guy and a worse singer. We are however naming our future baby Sumner.”
Last week an Instagram model took to her social media and revealed that the Girls Like You singer had an affair with her.
“Aware people are going to try to fill in the gaps with many false assumptions. I don’t feel like I’m doing any favors considering the manner this had to go about,” Sumner Stroh wrote in her story.
“It’s a lot to digest, but hopefully, at the very least, the truth being out can do some good,” she added.
The 23-year-old model then shared a video on her TikTok account where she shared the screenshots of his flirtatious messages on Instagram.
In her video, the Texas native explained that the 43-year-old singer manipulated her and took advantage of her naivety.
“Essentially, I was having an affair with a man who is married to a Victoria’s Secret supermodel,” she said while referring to Adam’s wife, Behati.
The model did not explain her relationship with the singer in detail; however, she shared his messages with her 385,000 followers on TikTok.
“It is unreal how f***ing hot you are. Like it blows my mind,” the Payphone singer wrote in one his DMs.
“You are 50 times hotter in person,” he added.
Stroh added that she and Levine were ‘seeing each other for about a year’ and then lost contact.
According to Stroh, the singer contacted her again after a few months and asked the most shocking and bizarre question one could only imagine.
“Ok serious question. I’m having another baby and if it’s [a] boy I really wanna name it Sumner. You ok with that? DEAD serious,” the musician asked his ex-girlfriend in an Instagram message.
Meanwhile, Levine, 43, denied the affair allegations with Stroh and said he did not have an affair, he only crossed a line.
Following her allegations, four more women raised their voices and accused the musician of sending them flirtatious messages and initiating inappropriate conversations on Instagram.
After Devine shared his hot yet hilarious take on the matter on his official Instagram, fans and fellow celebrities backed up the 38-year-old movie star and singer for roasting Levine so well.
“I’m screaming, and Chloe is stunning, and you are funny,” wrote Lera Abova, Devine’s fellow Pitch Perfect actress.
“Hahahaha! Hahahaha! Oh god I know you’ve been waiting for this day to come,” Whitney Cummings commented.
“THE ONLY ADAM I CARE ABOUT,” someone commented.
“You win the internet today. Devine > Levine!!!!!” a fan exclaimed
