Today’s story comes from the USA, where a FedEx delivery man was dropping off a package at a house where the dog barked at him through the window and then broke the window; it sparked a massive debate on TikTok.

Protective or Dangerous?

Britney Harper, @britneyharperky on TikTok, posted a video on her account where this FedEx man, Tim, can be seen casually dropping off a package.

After a while, he hears barking coming from one of the house’s windows.

And then the window’s glass suddenly gets shattered by the dog.

The FedEx man made a run for it, even slipping on the driveway due to panic and dropping his phone. He kept looking back, trying to see if the dog was coming after him.

The video amassed 1.5 million views on TikTok; you can watch it here. In the video’s caption, Britney write:

“This poor FedEx man will never want to make another delivery to our house”

Not everyone was against the dog, though. One person chimed in on how accidents happen, and another spoke of how Britney should have a clean driveway to avoid future accidents.

Dog’s Owner Posts an Update

After a few days of this incident, Britney posted a video on her TikTok explaining the situation and what happened after Tim, the FedEx man, left the house.

Tim and his manager contacted the family and told them what happened; Britney was shocked and surprised because her dog wasn’t aggressive.

“He’s not aggressive, he’s just—if we’re not home, he feels like he’s doing the right thing by protecting our house,”
