She’ll be there for her….
Jennifer Aniston showed support for her longtime FRIEND, Courteney Cox, on Monday afternoon when Courteney received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
As reported by Daily Mail, “The 54-year-old Murder Mystery actress was seen getting close to her 18-year-old goddaughter Coco Arquette.”
“Jennifer and Coco were sitting side-by-side in the audience as mom Cox received a star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame as she promotes her latest movie, Scream VI, which opens on March 10.
“At one point Aniston seemed to break down in tears as she listened to a speech then clapped away as Coco looked on.”
Coco is the only child of Courteney, whom she shares with her ex-husband, David Arquette.
The couple wed in 2009 and parted ways by divorce in 2013.
And for all those thinking, if Lisa Kudrow joined her besties for Cox’s big moment, of course, she did.
The 59-year-old joined Aniston and Cox during the event, and the tri was pictured together sharing a heartwarming hug just like old times.
“Jennifer and Lisa had attendees laughing as they paid tribute to their co-star from behind the podium,” Daily Mail wrote.
The Murder Mystery actress said,
“We’re very honored to be here today to speak on your behalf as your co-workers, your friends, and your family, your sisters,” according to ET Online.
“And that’s happened since we’ve known you for a very long time.” She continued, “It’s been that way since we met almost 30 years ago,’ Lisa said before Jennifer chimed in with the joke: ‘No, not 30 years ago. That’s a typo.”
“To be friends with Courteney is to be family with Courteney. She is responsible for all of that. From the beginning of when we met her, she was immediately inclusive, warm, loving, interested in everything about you.”
Lisa and Jennifer also recalled their first-ever meeting with Courteney and joked that she was the most famous of all their Friends co-stars.
They added that she hated playing poker with the remaining five lead characters but played nonetheless to bond with them.
“She hated poker. Like, loathed it from the bottom of her heart. But she played with us ’cause she wanted to bond with us,” said Jennifer.
Meanwhile, Lisa said about Courteney, “And I remember Courtney saying, “Y’all, look, I’ve made more money with the houses than acting.’”
Ending her statement with a touching note, Kudrow said,
“Courteney, we just want to say that we are deeply, deeply proud to know you. You are the definition of a truly beautiful, talented, and, what’s most important, a truly good and decent human being… Thank you for enriching our lives personally.”
Jennifer added, “You’re one of the funniest human beings on the planet Earth. Nothing makes me happier than a Courteney joke and always making us smile. And thank you for enriching our lives with your work. We are so proud of you.”
Courteney expressed her gratitude in her speech and said she was thrilled to receive the star with all her friends by her side.
“I can’t believe all my friends are here. It’s so nice,’ she concluded her speech,” she said.
