Johnny Depp’s First Wife, Lori Anne Allison, Says She Would Do Things to Amber Heard as Payback ‘If They Were Legal’

Johnny Depp’s ex-wife, Lori Anne Allison, has branded Amber Heard ‘horrific’ in a rare interview on Tuesday.

Lori Anne Allison is a makeup artist who married the Pirates of the Caribbean star in 1983 when she was 25, and Depp was 20 years old.

The marriage lasted two years, and the couple parted ways with divorce due to their irreconcilable differences.

Recently, Allison, 65, spoke on the Popcorned Planet podcast and admitted to breaking down several times during his defamation trial.

“It just broke my heart that somebody could do that to him,” she said. “I love him to pieces, and I get all goofy-eyed when I think about him and his future, our past.”

Speaking about Johnny’s second wife, Amber Heard, the makeup artist said,

“I had met her before, I’d been to parties at his house and she seemed really nice and she was gorgeous and what’s not to love? But as the time went by and I would hear things about her – she who shall not be named – he didn’t seem too happy all the time. I didn’t see him a lot so I cant really say.”

“The things that affected me more were the things he said in court – I probably broke down several times because I felt really bad for him,” Lori continued. “He’s very private – which is why I don’t do interviews – and I think for him to come out so wholeheartedly was what he really needed to do.

“I thought it was either going to be an epic train wreck or it was going to go really well.”

Allison said that sometimes during the trial, she would call Johnny’s close friend, Isaac Baruch, and ask if the Edward Scissorhands star was okay.

“I would call Isaac sometimes and go “what’s happening, is he ok?”

The ex-wife added that she used to walk around her house, crying and praying for Depp’s victory against Heard in the trial.

“I’m no angel, I’ve done my share of s****y things to people but what she did was absolutely horrific and if there were things that I could do to her that were legal I would do them! I would.”

The legal battle between the former couple ended on Wednesday, June 2, 2022. The trial continued for almost six weeks, and it was one of the most followed Hollywood trials on TV and social media.

In response to her 2018 op-ed in the Washington Post, actor Johnny Depp sued his ex-wife Amber Heard. The Aquaman star wrote that she survived domestic problems; she said she had been assaulted. Although she didn’t explicitly mention Johnny Depp’s name in her statement, it was quite evident since the two were married for almost a year and later got divorced.

Depp sued her for $50 million and claimed that his reputation had been tarnished because of Amber’s statements. He also said that he had been severely affected by Heard’s allegations. It was true as he was removed from the Pirates movie franchise and stopped getting any roles at all.

Amber Heard then countersued him for $100 million while claiming that the 58-year-old actor tried to defame her for being ‘honest’ about his toxic behavior.

The trial lasted almost six weeks, and in June 2022, the court decided in favor of Depp.

In Fairfax, Virginia, seven jurors favored the 59-year-old Pirates of the Caribbean actor and awarded him over $10 million in damages.

It was determined that the 36-year-old actress had defamed Depp for the domestic abuse claims she made in a 2018 Washington Post op-ed.

The court ordered the Aquaman actress to pay $8 million in compensatory damages and $350,000 in damages; however, she claimed that she did not have the funds to cover the full amount.
