Julia and George have worked on six movies together – their first film was Ocean’s Eleven, released in 2011.

Apart from the Ocean’s film series, the duo has appeared in August: Osage County, Money Monster, Confessions of a Dangerous Mind, and Ticket to Paradise.

Their upcoming romantic comedy film Ticket to Paradise will hit the movie theatres in October 2022.

“In the film, Roberts and Clooney play a divorced couple who reunite to travel to Bali and stop their daughter (Kaitlyn Dever) from impulsively marrying a man she met on vacation.”

“In a trailer for the movie, the stars’ characters run into each other on the plane ride to the Indonesian province. They agree to a truce while they prevent their daughter from making the same mistake they made 25 years prior.” Per Us Weekly.

Recently, in an interview with The New York Times, the 54-year-old Pretty Woman star shared that her long-time buddy Clooney helped her a lot when she was feeling lonely and homesick while filming the movie in Australia.

“We were in a bubble, and it’s the longest I’ve ever been away from my family. I don’t think I’ve spent that much time alone since I was 25,” Roberts said.

The shooting of their new rom-com film began in November 2021 and continued till February 2022.

According to Julia, while she was living alone in a house in Sydney, her family was in the US. However, the Gravity actor had his family – wife Amal and two children with him on the set, and they were residing in a nearby rental.

The Eat Pray Love actress had been married to the American cinematographer Daniel Moder for the last twenty years and has three children with him.

Speaking to the outlet, the Ocean’s Twelve actor said, “We started in Hamilton Island with all these wild birds, and Julia had the house down just below Amal and me and the kids.”

“I would come out in the early mornings and be like, Caa-caa, and Julia would come out and be like, Caa-caa.”

“And then we’d bring her down a cup of coffee. She was Aunt Juju to my kids.”

George also said that Julia’s family finally made it to Australia, but since the pandemic was still on the rise, they had to stay in quarantine for two weeks.

‘They had to fly into Sydney and quarantine for two weeks by themselves before she could see them,’ he said.

Speaking of their filming, the Ocean’s Eleven actors revealed that ‘it took them eighty takes to film one kissing scene.

“Yeah. I told my wife [Amal Clooney], ‘It took 80 takes,’ and She was like, ‘What the hell?’”

“It took 79 takes of us laughing and then the one take of us kissing,” said Julia.

“Well, we had to get it right,” added Clooney.

The father-of-two also stated that when the writer and director Ol Parker called them to discuss their roles, he instantly told Roberts that the characters were clearly written by keeping them in mind.

“I hadn’t really done a romantic comedy since One Fine Day — I haven’t succeeded as Julia has in that forum — but I read it and thought, “Well, if Jules is up for it, I think this could be fun,”‘ he said.

Meanwhile, Julia said that initially, the story didn’t make sense to her. However, her amazing chemistry with Clooney made it worth it.

“We have a friendship that people are aware of, and we’re going into it as this divorced couple. Half of America probably thinks we are divorced, so we have that going for us,” she said.
