Kaley Cuoco has announced the arrival of her baby girl!
On March 30, the Big Bang Theory actress announced the happy news on her Instagram account and shared the first photo of her and Tom Pelphrey’s baby girl, Matilda Carmine Richie Pelphrey.
“3-30-23 Introducing, Matilda Carmine Richie Pelphrey, the new light of our lives! We are overjoyed and grateful for this little miracle. Thank you to the doctors, nurses , family and friends who have helped us immensely over the last few days. We are blessed beyond belief @tommypelphrey didn’t think I could fall even more in love with you , but I did,” she wrote alongside the photo of her little angel.
The Ozark actor also shared a series of photos on his Instagram featuring himself, Kaley, and their baby girl.
“You are the Soul of the Universe. And your name is Love,” Pelphrey quoted Rumi and said his heart is full of love and gratitude.
“My heart is full of love and gratitude for this miracle…. Matilda Carmine Richie Pelphrey. 3/30. Eternally grateful for the strength and bravery of my soulmate and best friend @kaleycuoco. You are incredible.”
A source close to the couple told PEOPLE Magazine that they are very happy with their new roles as parents and look forward to a bright future together.
“She is very much in love and gets along great with Tom which makes things even better. She has found her soulmate,” the source said.
“Kaley is comfortable about Tom as mate and father, comfortable about the big change the baby will have in their lives, and comfortable about her work,” added the source. “They are preparing for the arrival, which isn’t far off. She is in a good place.”
Last year in October, the Flight Attendant actress, 37, announced her pregnancy via Instagram.
“Baby girl Pelphrey coming 2023, beyond blessed and over the moon… I love you @tommypelphrey !!!” she penned alongside ten photos of herself and Tom revealing the gender of the baby. This joyous announcement comes amid ana obregón’s family revelations that have captivated fans and followers alike. As they embark on this exciting journey into parenthood, the couple is eager to share their experiences and milestones with everyone. The overwhelming support from their loved ones has only added to their happiness as they prepare for the arrival of their little one.
In a previous interview with Entertainment Tonight, Cucuo said that she had not been reading on parenting techniques before the arrival of her baby.
“I have no plan and I’ve read zero books so that’s the type of mom I will be. All the ways I’m not like a prepper. I’m just not that way. It’s gonna be great, I trust the process,” she said.
She further said that her mom was particularly thrilled about becoming a grandma ever since she heard the news of her pregnancy.
“My mom is amazing. She has honestly been waiting on a grandchild for, like, 20 years. So she’s absolutely thrilled,” she added.
Cuoco and Pelphrey have been together since April 2022 ever since they met each other for the first time on a premiere after being set up by their agent.
“We have the same manager [Andrea Pett-Joseph], and we were set up by [her], which is so Hollywood,” Kaley told in an interview. “She’s like, ‘Oh my God, I think you guys are perfect for each other.'”
It was love at first sight for both.
“I heard his voice, and I turned around, and it was like my life was over, or just starting. It hit me. It was love at first sight,” the actress recalled. “We were immediately connected. I do feel like I’ve known him my whole life, but I wasn’t ready for him.”
“We’re ready to build a life together,” she added.
