Kanye West says He has to Fight for his Voice to be Heard in Parenting, “Men’s Voice Matters”

American rapper Ye, popularly known as Kanye West, said that he has to fight for his voice to be heard in relationships.

In his recent interview with Good Morning America, the Flashing Lights star explained why he is always fighting with people, especially his ex-wife Kim Kardashian, online.

“This is the mother of my children, and I apologize for any stress that I have caused, even in my frustration, because God calls me to be stronger,” he told Davis. “But also, ain’t nobody else needs to be causing no stress either. I need this person to be least stressed and at best sound mind and as calm as possible to be able to raise those children.”

Last year in October, the couple called it quits nearly after seven years of marriage. They share four kids together: daughter North, 9, son Saint, 7, daughter Chicago, 4, and son Psalm, 3.

The 45-year-old Gold Digger rapper added that he has all the rights to have a say in decisions that concern his children, but it always feels like he has to fight for his voice to be heard; that’s why he always resorts to social media to voice his opinions.

“As a dad and as a Christian. And I have a right to have a voice on what my kids are wearing, what they’re watching, what they’re eating. I have a platform where I get to say what so many dads can’t say out loud.”

“That hurts you when you have to like, scream about what your kids are wearing,” West said while explaining why he’s always been so outspoken on social media.

According to West, he wanted his children to attend Donda Academy, ‘a gospel school’ he created and named after his late mother, Donda West, who died in 2007. However, his now ex-wife, the Keeping Up with Kardashians star, doesn’t want it.

“I’m their dad. It has to be co-parenting. It’s not up to only the woman. Like, men have a choice also. Men’s voices matter.”

“I want my kids to go to Donda, and I have to fight for [it],” he added.

Earlier this month, the musician took to his Instagram and called out several people, including fashion brands like Adidas and Gap and his ex-partner.

“Here is the through line; Gap having meetings about me without me Adidas releasing old shoes and coloring my shoes like I’m dead me not having a say on where my children go to school.”

“Call me whatever names you want. If you don’t understand why I won’t back down on my businesses, my brands, and my children, then you’re the ones who are crazy.”

Following his now-deleted highly vocal posts, the rapper had a heated exchange with his ex-wife Kim who sent him a text and asked him to ‘stop dealing with private matters in public.’

“No. We need to talk in person. You don’t have say so of where the kids go to school. Why you get say? Cause you half white?” Kanye responded to the makeup mogul.

“I was driven crazy before. I’m not going crazy no more … I’m not the crazy one on here. I won’t stop until I have a say on my kids no matter what it legally takes,” he wrote on his Instagram.

According to PEOPLE, ‘The Grammy winner also suggested the children attend two separate schools, each a few days a week. Kardashian did not appear to respond to the text message.’
