American socialite and fashion designer Kathy Hilton said her daughter, Paris Hilton, is struggling to get pregnant with husband Carter Reum.
In an emotional interview with E! News, the 63-year-old revealed that it breaks her heart to see her eldest daughter struggle to conceive her first baby.
“It breaks my heart because I know she is trying and trying, and I always say, ‘Just relax,'” she said. “So many people, they struggle, and it doesn’t just happen like that.”

Last November, Hilton, 41, tied the knot with the Reum, an entrepreneur and venture capitalist. The duo met in 2019 and dated for almost two years before saying yes to marriage.
“On Nov. 11, 2021, the couple tied the knot in a lavish ceremony and reception at Hilton’s late grandfather’s former Bel Air home — all of which was planned by Mindy Weiss.”
“The bride had three outfit changes; she wore two Oscar de la Renta dresses and one by Galia Lahav,” PEOPLE reported.
Now Mama Hilton shares her daughter’s wish to conceive a child and says that she has been trying hard to get pregnant via IVF but hasn’t succeeded yet.
Speaking of her marriage, Kathy said that Paris is very happy in her life, and all she and Carter need now is a baby.
“They are so happy. They had their one-year anniversary at the carnival and they want to do that annually. They were like two kids, it was really sweet.”
In January, The Simple Life alum told Daily Pop that she could not wait to be a mom and would have two or maybe three kids with Reum.
“That is definitely one of my top priorities. I would have two or three children most probably and I would want twins first – or I don’t know, it’s hard to say,” Paris said.
“Like I always wish I had an older brother, ’cause I feel like if I did they would protect me and things like that…in school. So maybe a boy first,” she added.
In January 2021, the socialite sat down in an interview on the Trend Reporter With Mara podcast and revealed that she had begun the process of in vitro fertilization with Carter. It was before they even decided to get married to each other.
“I’ve already undergone the egg extraction procedure. It was tough, but I knew it would be worth it. I did it a couple of times.”
Speaking of baby names, the model said she and Carter were planning it together.
“Just doing it together and having a partner that is just so supportive and always makes me feel just like a princess all the time…that it wasn’t that bad.”
In September 2020, she told Ladygang podcast listeners that she hopes to become a mom of twin babies.
“First one, we’re planning it already, is going to be a boy and girl twin,” the “Paris in Love,” she said. “I have baby London, which is the girl, and I’m trying to figure out a name for the boy.”
