Whenever Keanu Reeves smiles, the rest of us are sure to smile too. The 57-year-old Matrix star, who was accompanied by his girlfriend 49-year-old Alexandra Grant, looked great on the red carpet.
In Los Angeles, the Geffen Contemporary at MOCA hosted a gala fundraiser for the Museum of Contemporary Art on Saturday evening. The event was praised as a “fundraising celebration.”
In November 2019, Reeves and Grant made the first public declaration of their relationship by attending the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) Art + Film Gala together.
Grant, who lives in Ohio, grew up in various places around the world, according to the Daily Mail. In addition to being an artist in her own right, she has been involved in the arts since graduating from Swarthmore College in 1994. Her work has been exhibited across the globe since then, including at LACMA, the Galerie Gradiva in Paris, and the Harris Lieberman Gallery in New York.
In 2011, they met and collaborated on several projects. Keanu wrote two volumes of poetry, Ode To Happiness and Shadows, for which Grant provided the illustrations.
Jennifer Tilly, Grant’s friend, revealed to Page Six in February 2020 that they had been dating for much longer than they thought. “I remember a couple of years ago, about a year and a half ago, [Grant] said, ‘Keanu Reeves is my boyfriend,’ and I’m like, ‘Wait.
