The nine-year-old is all set to enter the business world.
Kim Kardashian has filed four new trademarks for her eldest daughter, North West.
According to The Sun, “Kim has been prepping North for her successful future as she filed four new trademarks in her daughter’s name, all on March 10, 2023.”
“The first trademark filed is for “non-medicated skin preparations, skin moisturizers, skin lotions, skin creams, skin cleansers.”
The eldest child of Kim and her ex-husband, rapper Kanye West will own trademarks that include a beauty brand and a toy line.
“North’s beauty line also plans to expand into: ‘Skin serums, facial oils, body oils, bath and shower gels, bubble bath, body powders, cosmetics, fragrances, hair care preparations,’ and more.”
“The Hulu star also plans for North to build her own toy business empire, as a second trademark details ‘toy figures, doll accessories, dolls, drawing toys, infant toys, mechanical action toys, play sets for action figures, soft sculpture toys, bath toys,’ and more.”
Her toy company will include educational toys for kids to help develop their cognitive and fine motor skills.
“North’s third trademark promises advertising services, and her fourth includes ‘entertainment in the nature of providing information in means of a global computer network in the fields of entertainment and pop culture.'”
In December, the SKIMS founder discussed her daughter’s passion for music on the Angie Martinez IRL podcast last year.
“The other day, we’re just in the car, and she puts on these beats, with no words or lyrics,” Kim recalled. “And she just sits in the car…She could, for hours, just rap over the beats. So, I press record on my phone so that one day she’ll hear it and it’ll be so cute,’ Kim continued to explain at the time.”
“That’s our fun times, just driving around. And she loves to blast music and just freestyle,” she added.
The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star also filed similar trademarks for North in 2019 including an additional clothing trademark.
North has also accompanied her socialite mother to several fashion shows that depict her interest in the industry.
As per Daily Mail, “Last year in November, the reality star filed a whopping 12 trademarks for her youngest child, three-year-old Psalm.”
It is still not confirmed if the nine-year-old will launch her own products anytime soon or maybe in the future. However, the news is not appreciated by many fans of her star mom as the majority believe, North is too young to start her own business.
“What does a 9 year old know about skin care,” one wrote.
“buying acne treatment from someone who has yet to have their first pimple,” a second added.
“the way at this age taylor had no friends and went to the mall with her mom,” a third commented.
“Skin care at age nine-years-old. Why’s her mother rushing her growing up. Let the child be a child and do kids stuff,” said another.
