You still have to believe in good men.
You still have to be able to believe that there are good men out there for you. You still have to be able to keep the faith that the quality guy is out there looking for you. He is going to be the type of guy who is really going to put a lot of effort into planning your dates. He is the kind of guy who is always going to act like an ideal gentleman. He will always make sure that you get home safely at night. He will always offer to pay for dinner even though he knows that you can pay for your own meals. He is always going to hold the door open for you and hold your hand whenever you’re walking together. He is always going to make sure that he is presenting the best version of himself whenever he’s with you because he would never want you to think ill of him.

He is going to be the kind of guy who is going to make sure to send you flowers on random days just to show you that he’s thinking of you. And if it’s not flowers, it’s going to be something else that he knows you’ll enjoy. Because ultimately, that’s what it all comes down to. He wants to be able to bring as much joy into your life as possible. He wants to be the reason that you can’t stop smiling at night as you think of him before you sleep. He wants to always be bring so much positivity and happiness into the days that you live; and he wants to serve as a reminder for all of the beautiful things that this world has to offer you.

He is going to be the kind of man who isn’t going to be vague or ambiguous with you. He isn’t looking to play around. He’s not going to be taking part in any games with you. He isn’t going to act coy. He isn’t going to play hard to get. He is the kind of guy who is secure enough in his manhood to actually let his feelings be known to you. He is going to wear his heart on his sleeve. He is going to let you and the whole world know exactly how he feels about you. He isn’t going to be shy about loving you. And he is never going to do or say anything that will lead you to doubt the sincerity of his feelings towards you. He is always going to be very upfront about his emotions so that you will never have to feel like you are being kept in the dark.

You have to believe in the kind of guy who is going to want to bring you home to meet the family; the kind of guy who sees a genuine future with you. He is the kind of guy who will want to integrate you into his life as seamlessly as possible because he wouldn’t know how to face a world without you in it. He is the kind of guy who is always going to live up to his word. He would never make any promises to you if he knew he wouldn’t be keeping them. He is always going to try his best to never disappoint you; to always surpass your expectations of him.

He is the kind of guy who would never serve as a roadblock between you and your dreams. He is always going to be throwing words of encouragement towards your way. He is a guy who is willing to make compromises and sacrifices so that he doesn’t get in the way of your success. He is the kind of guy who sees you as a genuine equal; the kind of guy who treats you like a partner. He knows that you have weaknesses but he would never want you to feel insecure about them. And he also knows that you have strengths that need to be nurtured and capitalized on.

Why? Because that’s what love is all about. It’s about belief. It’s about faith. Just because you haven’t found love in the past doesn’t mean that you’re never going to find it in the future. Yes, you have been heartbroken before and it was absolutely devastating. But one day, you’re going to meet a good man who is going to make you understand why he was worth the wait. And you just have to be able to believe in him. You just have to trust that you’re eventually going to find him; and it will be everything you’ve ever imagined it to be.
