Hartman was also a recording artist, and some of her famous songs include If Love Must Go, Tempt Me, Hole in My Heart, Hold On I’m Coming, and I Don’t Need Love.
Recently, Lisa celebrated her 67th birthday and 31 years of marriage with her husband, Clint Black. The pair tied the knot in 1991 and have one daughter – Lily Pearl Black, 22.
On the occasion of her mum’s 67th birthday, Lily took to her Instagram account and wrote a heartfelt note for Lisa.
“happy birthday momma i love you bigger than life itself. thanks for being my mom & my best friend & the easiest person to look up to. i just wanna be you when i grow up. best mom award ever goes to you,” she captioned an old photo of herself and her star mum.
Lisa and Clint first met at one of his concerts in 1990 – it was New Year’s Eve, and when the duo met backstage, the world stopped for them.
According to Clint, it felt like everything was moving in slow motion, and he just kept looking into Lisa’s beautiful eyes.
“It was slow motion, like you see in the movies,” Lisa told PEOPLE in an interview in 2021. “There was something there.”
“I knew I was looking at somebody amazing. I didn’t know anything about her. I didn’t know her TV show. I just looked at her eyes and I was just, wow!” added Clint.
After exchanging numbers, the two love-struck stars started chatting and talking to each other, and soon they were head over heels in love.
After nearly ten months of their first meeting, Lisa and Clint tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in Texas at Clint’s farm.
After several years of marriage, the couple toured together in 2021, and fans couldn’t help noticing that the two stars are still very much in love with each other, and Clint still can’t take his eyes off of his gorgeous wife.
“Love is something that you nurture and protect,” Clint told PEOPLE. “We’ve grown together in our relationship and never apart.”
“Once we fell in love,” he continued. “Then any love song I wrote had to ring true to who we are.”
The couple now run their own show, Mostly Hits & the Mrs., and revealed that it has become their family business and their 22-year-old daughter Lily would also join them very soon.
Lily, 22, has taken a gap year from her studies at Belmont University in Nashville, where she studies music. She is the only child of Lisa and Clint and has loved the idea of joining her parents in their family business.
The 22-year-old looks very much like her mother, as the two share an uncanny resemblance.
