Raven Ross and Sikiru SK Alagbada have officially called it quits!
In a joint statement, the couple announced their split on Instagram on Sunday, November 20.
“We are saddened to announce that we have decided to go our separate ways,” the two wrote on their Instagram stories.
“Due to on-going legal proceedings surrounding these allegations, we cannot provide additional details and ask that you please respect our privacy during this hard time. Thank you for following our love story and believing in us.”
The statement continued, “This journey has forever shaped our lives, and we are so grateful for everyone who has been a part of it. Your love and support mean everything.”
The duo met during season 3 of the reality show and got along really well. After getting to know each other, SK and Ross got engaged in the pods.
According to Us Weekly, their relationship was full of ups and downs, and even after getting engaged, Raven disclosed that SK was not ready to tie the knot.
Him and I didn’t talk about, like, a definitive answer before we got up on the altar, but I knew in my heart, and I knew in his that, like, we had this incredible journey, and that was so special to us,” she told Us Weekly.
“And we’ve worked through so many other problems that even if it’s not our time today, like, pretty soon, we can try to work on it and get better and just keep growing — that’s probably the best thing that we did throughout this entire thing is just grow together and be patient.”
The reality show’s final season debuted in October, and fans were shocked when the MBA student didn’t end his vows with ‘I do.’
“Leading up to the wedding, I was still in very, very good shape,” SK Alagbada told E! News. “I felt like the differences we had and the things we were working [on] was something we could resolve. But at the end of the day, when I came to the altar on that day, there were still outstanding things that we had.”
The 34-year-old graduate student further added that although they had strong feelings for each other, he didn’t feel like getting married was right at that time.
“We see things differently, and right now I just don’t think marriage can fix our problems,” he added.
Meanwhile, Raven, a Pilates instructor, told the outlet that she wanted to take her relationship with SK to the next step and would have said yes to getting married if given a chance.
“I think our relationship really started from a hard place and we were able to grow every single day and just build each other up,” she told E! News. “So by the time that we got to our wedding, especially for me, I was just so confident that we could have an amazing life together and really just be each other’s best friends.”
In another interview with PEOPLE, Raven said that she was shocked Sikiru said no at the altar.
“I was clearly really shocked,” she said. “I feel like the whole time, I was definitely not portrayed as an emotional person. So it was probably shocking for everyone to see me be such a crybaby.”
“But it was a really emotional day,” she added. “I definitely was unprepared. We had gone through this whole experience. I was definitely on cloud nine after our build-up of having a great relationship, so I was a little shocked.”
Buzzfeed reported that their relationship problems and Break up occurred due to SK’s side affairs with other women.
“Put a finger down if you went on a date in April with a guy from Hinge and then you see that he’s actually on the show Love Is Blind and that he met you after the show was filmed, but is still with the same girl right now,” A TikTok user @emmwho9 revealed in a now-deleted video.
Another woman with the username @hannahbethstyle on TikTok also disclosed that she dated SK on and off between 2019 and 2021.
The TikTok user even showed ‘alleged receipts’ on her account and vowed that she and the Love Is Blind alum went on several European Vacations together.
“I asked to see his phone to send pics of myself but ended up seeing messages from a contact named ‘fiancé.’ I waited to confront him until dinner bc I was trying to wrap my head around what I saw,” she said.
“He told me it was for the LIB show but it was just for $ & they were friends only.”
