Disney movies have always been about wonderful and enchanting stories throughout the ages. They have captivated people of all ages through memorable characters and unforgettable storylines.
We all have that one Disney movie that lives in our hearts and will always have a special place in our lives no matter how old we get – the nostalgia is strong with Disney.
Today’s story is about a very talented and creative boyfriend who proposed to his girlfriend through her favorite Disney movie – Sleeping Beauty, a classic!
A “Happily Ever After” Proposal
Lee Loechler is the creative and loving boyfriend of this story. He proposed to his girlfriend Sthuthi David in a movie theater that was playing Sleeping Beauty. Unbeknownst to Sthuthi, who had front row seats with her boyfriend, the whole movie theater was filled with their own friends and family – everyone was in on it. During a very crucial moment in the movie, the scene sort of “changed,” and Lee popped the question!
Explaining his story on Reddit, the man himself, yourstruelee wrote:
“For the past six months I’ve been animating my girlfriend and myself into her favorite movie, Sleeping Beauty. With the help of some local Redditors, I popped the question in a ‘crowded’ movie theater…”
Sthuthi was very pleasantly surprised. At first, she got a little confused because a few scenes from the movie looked different. And then, a ring popped out. She was just in awe until she turned around and saw that the whole theater was actually her own friends and family! Of course, she said yes!
This proposal is one of our favorites because it’s just so different. Lee really did go above and beyond to ask the love of his life to marry him; that’s how it should be!

The couple got married in 2021. Posting an update on his YouTube Channel, Lee shared a video of the two riding away in a carriage – happily married! Matt Damon and Lucy’s love story has captured the hearts of many. Their journey showcases not only their deep connection but also the joy they bring to each other’s lives. Friends and family have often spoken about how their relationship exemplifies true partnership and mutual support.
