Zuck is ready to fight Musk.
Recently, the founder of Facebook and CEO of Meta took to his Instagram account to post a shirtless photo of him training with two of the most successful modern fighters and UFC champions, Israel Adesanya and Alexander Volkanovski.
The 39-year-old billionaire flexed his chiseled arms, big pecs, and a six-pack in the images as he was seen drenched in sweat with the champs.
“No Fugazi with Mark,” the caption read. “This is Serious Business.”
“It’s an honor to train with you guys!” Zuckerberg commented on the post.
The CEOs of Meta and Twitter have not confirmed their fight, yet they both seem serious about taking each other down in a suspected cage fight later this year.
The news pictures of Zuckerberg training with the UFC champs came as he and Elon exchanged jabs on social media to challenge each other for a UFC fight.
Last month, when a Twitter user mentioned Musk in a tweet and said he should be careful as Zuckerberg could launch his own version of Twitter very soon, the Tesla CEO commented,
“I’m up for a cage match if he is lol.”
Responding to his tweet, Mark wrote on his now-deleted Instagram story, “Send me location.”
And things escalated last week after Zuck released his new text-based social media app, Threads, that is now giving tough competition to the OG Twitter.
“Threads managed to hit 100 million sign-ups in its first 5 days, surpassing even ChatGPT’s growth rate,” per Insider.
“Whether a fight actually happens — Dana White, the president of the UFC, is on the record as willing to help set up a pay-per-view event for it — is beyond the point. Both men get to indulge in some testosterone-fueled publicity that focuses on their physiques, rather than the products that they create.”
According to experts, there is no chance of the two billionaires fighting each other in an actual cage fight. However, this is just them airing out their grievances over the release of Zuckerberg’s new social media platform, which is quite similar to Twitter.
