Megan Fox is an American actress known for her roles in Holiday in the Sun, Transformers, This is 40, Rogue, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Midnight in the Switchgrass, The Expandables, and Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen.
She received several accolades for her work in the entertainment industry, including two Scream Awards and four Teen Choice Awards.
After achieving star status in 2009 and stealing millions of hearts with her movie, Transformers, Fox did something she deeply regretted later.
In 2009, Fox, who was only 23 years old at that time, accidentally snubbed an eleven-year-old boy who tried to give her a yellow rose as she left the premiere of her film Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen in London.
Later the Transformers actress apologized and said she didn’t see the boy with the flower.
“There were, like, 80 million people everywhere. It was dark, all I see are flashes. Everyone was yelling different things… and I didn’t know that was happening.”
“I feel so sad for him. That’s so terrible. That kills me,” Megan said in a recorded video message.
“I’m sorry, sweet boy. I would never do that to you, and I would gladly accept your rose if I see you again,” she told Collider.com. “The paparazzi would not let you to me. I’m so embarrassed.”
Fox also requested if the boy could be found, she would love to meet him in person and accept his yellow flower this time.
According to Daily Mail, “After a reward of $5,000 was offered to find out the schoolboy’s identity he was discovered by a user of the social networking site Facebook.”
“Harvey’s cousin, 18-year-old Holly Bramley, confirmed to website netnewsdaily.com he will be flying to New York tonight to meet Megan with his mother and a friend.”
It was also reported that the Film Company, Kodak, announced to help the boy fly from London over to States to meet his idol.
Kodak offered a reward of $5000 to track down the boy, who was later found through Facebook.
“It’s amazing how just a photograph can connect and change the lives of two complete strangers.” Kodak’s Vice President, Leslie Dance, told PerezHilton.com.
“If this photo is any indication, this boy was really hoping to meet Megan Fox and give her that rose, and we’d love to help make his fantastical wish come true.”
The boy named Harvey Kindlon was found with his cousin, and reports claimed they flew to the US to meet Fox in person.
However, the meeting couldn’t take place as Megan was supposed to meet him in New York, but the plan was changed last minute due to the sudden passing of Michael Jackson.
“She headed back to LA, and poor little Kindlon was snubbed for a second time.”
“At the time, reports suggested that the whole thing was organized poorly and there was never a solid date and time set in stone for Kindlon to meet his idol.”
