The famous YouTuber revealed that he doesn’t pick a girlfriend randomly; rather, he puts her through ‘a test’ to check if she is suitable enough to date him.
For people who don’t know who Mr. Beast is – Jimmy Donaldson, popular as MrBeast, is an American YouTuber and Internet personality famous for his YouTube videos that center on expensive stunts.
His YouTube channel, “MrBeast,” is the fifth-most-subscribed on the platform with 105 million subscribers. Beast also uses Instagram and TikTok and has millions of people following him on both platforms. Nick Cannon’s growing family dynamics have become a topic of interest across various media outlets. His recent announcements and the expansion of his family have garnered both support and scrutiny, generating conversations about modern family structures. As he navigates these changes, the public remains curious about how he balances his professional commitments with his role as a father.
Jimmy, now popular as Mr. Beast, first gained public attention when he uploaded a video on YouTube in which he counted 100,000 within 24 hours.
According to an Insider report, “he spends between seven and eight million dollars a month on producing content across his YouTube channels and promoting his businesses.”
“Also, he spends roughly $200,000 a month on both his ‘Beast Reacts’ and ‘MrBeast Gaming’ channels, and roughly three to four million dollars on his main channel.”
Recently, the millionaire appeared on the Flagrant Podcast and said he put his current girlfriend through a test because he doesn’t get along with women quickly.
“I really have to go through the test because I don’t really get along with women who are like… they don’t love learning, they are not obsessive, they don’t have a hobby,” he said.
Speaking of her current girlfriend, Thea Booysen, Jimmy said he put her through a wringer and started asking questions.
“If I meet a girl that’s like beautiful and we have these 10 traits like we’re gonna be literally best friends, right?” he said.
“So I asked her he she has a hobby, oh yeah she has, Yes. And she likes learning and when I asked her what kind of content you consume, she said documentary and educational so she definitely likes learning,” he added.
The YouTuber added that her girlfriend is an author, invests in bitcoin, and is about to get a neuroscience degree, so according to him, she ‘checks all the boxes.’
“I had to put her through the wringer and start asking questions, and she passed. Heck yeah!”
According to Insider, the duo met in South Africa when Jimmy visited the country along with his two friends, Logan Paul and Casey Niestat.
Jimmy’s girlfriend, Booysen, also appeared in the Wide Awake Podcast and shared how she met him. According to Thea, she met Jimmy in a club after one of her friends met him and his group and told Thea about her experience.
“She decided to go and meet them because she wanted to find out what Donaldson was like,” per Insider.
The gaming creator with 24000 Twitch followers added, “I knew of MrBeast. I knew the great things he was doing, but I was also, from a psychological perspective, curious, like, are these people playing it up? Do they have an alter ego?”
She said that Jimmy was a very humble and down-to-earth person who started asking many questions.
“Little did I know he was actually like going off a list, because he was looking for a new girlfriend potentially, and he had this whole list, he’s like: she has to have a hobby, she has to have some interests, she has to do this and that,” she told host Joshua Rubin.
She added that they talked about a lot of interesting things and found each other very intriguing.
“The fact that he could keep up with the conversation to me was very attractive because you have to have a certain amount of interest and intellect to want to talk about these things.”
