A mum with 800 tattoos claims she struggles to find a job because of how she looks.
Melissa Sloan, 46, who lives in Wales, UK, previously had a toilet cleaning job. However, now she cannot find a gig because of her tattoos and says people don’t like how she looks.
The Welsh mum, who has at least three new designs etched onto her face on a weekly basis, says she is banned from work, pubs, and even kids’ schools due to her appearance, and some people don’t even like to talk to her.
“I can’t get a job,” Melissa told the Daily Star. “I applied for a job cleaning toilets where I live, and they won’t have me because of my tattoos.
“People have said I have never had a job in my life, but I have had one once, and it didn’t last long,” the mother-of-two added. “If someone offered me a job tomorrow, I would go and work – I would take that offer.”
Sloan got her first-ever tattoo at the age of 20 and became quickly hooked.
The mum-of-two believes she is the most tattooed person in the world and wants to make it to the Guinness Book of World Records to prove it.
The 46-year-old is addicted to getting new tattoos and ink designs on her body and can’t stop now. However, her tats have barred her from so many places, including children’s’ schools and bars, because people don’t appreciate the way she looks now with all those designs on her face and body overall.
“No Christmas parties, and when I go to my child’s school, I don’t get invited,” she said.
According to Sloan, many tattoo artists have refused to even work on her because of her extreme ‘ink addiction.’
“They won’t do it because I’m beyond help – because I’ve gone too far,” Sloan explained. “I’ve been banned for life from pubs in the past because of the tattoos. I have gone into pubs and had people look at me like I’m nobody.”
The mum added that she wasn’t very pleased with her old designs, so she got her face tattoos redone. Now she has two layers of tats on her face and still wants more.
“I’d like to be a record holder, it’s just something different,” she told the Mirror. “I’m trying to get into the Guinness book of records.
“I’ve got three layers on my face, I probably have the most tattoos in the world, and if not, then at the rate I’m going on I probably will have in the end – I keep going over and over them.”
She added, “Every bit of skin will be covered even if I’m turning blue, my face is already turning blue – I look like a Smurf.“

You know what you’re in for. If you wanted employment you would’ve stopped at tattooing your face. Of course people will stare. It’s not socially acceptable or the norm.
It’s her choice to do what she wants, she is an adult! But unfortunately her choice is causing her children to suffer if she doesn’t have a job; someone take pity on her children they are innocent and give her a job
