Mum Slammed for Keeping Pet Dog After It Mauled 3-Year-Old Daughter’s Face Leaving Her Scarred

A woman faces backlash for keeping her pet dog at home even after it bit her three-year-old daughter‘s face leaving her scarred.

TikToker Klara Tsetkin defended her decision to keep her cocker spaniel Bart at home after it mauled her daughter Milana’s face in 2020.

Bart bit little Milana’s face, and the poor girl got stitches.

After the incident, Milana’s father wanted to get rid of the pet, but Klara disagreed, and the couple divorced.

She insisted that Bart never attacked Milana and he only acted in self-defense.

“He was very sick!” she explained in one video. “And tries to hide under the bed.. his hind legs gave out, and he couldn’t crawl away..”

“(Our) 3-year-old daughter did not understand that the dog needs to rest today and not touch him… she began to touch him even more, sit on him and climb into his face and hurt him…”

In another video, Tsetkin revealed that she and her husband are no longer together because he didn’t want to keep the pet, but she did.

“When someone asks me – will you regret that you are divorcing your husband because he wants to get rid of the dog?” she wrote on her clip.

Klara has received massive backlash from people on TikTok, and most of them blamed her for being ignorant – some also called her a bad mom who loves her dog more than her daughter.

“Poor baby has permanent scares, and when she is older, she is going to be heartbroken that you chose a dog over her,” one wrote.

“Can’t believe you’re keeping that animal around after it permanently scarred your child’s face,” said another.

“My friend’s dog attacked her while pregnant! She literally almost died! The next attack will not be pretty!” someone wrote.

“She’s going to grow up and remember that her mum left a dog that left permanent scars on her face in the home,” another added.

The incident occurred nearly three years ago, and Milana’s scars are almost gone now.

“For those who asked to see how the scar looks now after a dog bite,” Klara wrote alongside another clip showing Milana’s face.

“The doctor did not tighten the stitches to the end due to a possible infection, so the scar turned out to be wide,” she explained.

“We are planning to do a scar resurfacing. If there are those who want to help our princess, we will be eternally grateful.”

  1. I own a lot of doggies and got bitten several times. On hindsite those that bit me were irritable, scared, panicky, etc and i did not realise that bad mental state that they were in. If I labeled them aggresive creatures and got rid of them I would never have forgiven myself.
