The Dalai Lama is already facing backlash for kissing a minor child and asking him to ‘suck his tongue.’
Footage of the interaction between His Holiness and a minor boy has become viral online. In the video, the Tibetan spiritual leader could be seen kissing him on the lips and then asking the child to suck his tongue.
In the video, the child asks Tenzin Gyatso if he can hug him, to which he responds: “Okay – come!”
Gyatso first asked the boy to kiss him on the cheek, then his lips. He also held the child’s face as the two kissed briefly before pressing their foreheads together.
Then the Tibetan Buddhist leader asked him, “And suck my tongue.”
While the boy did what he said, the audience could be heard laughing in the background of the video.
The footage caused a stir online, and many have branded the Dalai Lama as an immensely sick, disgusting individual and a Child predator.
In the apology statement issued by the Dalai Lama’s Office, it has been claimed that ‘His Holiness regrets the incident.’
“His holiness wishes to apologise to the boy and his family as well as his many friends across the world, for the hurt his words may have caused.
“His holiness often teases people he meets in an innocent and playful way, even in public and before cameras. He regrets the incident.” The statement read.
Now, in another resurfaced video of the Buddhist leader, he could be seen sitting at a conference attended by many other famous people, including Lady Gaga and other celebrities. The meeting took place in Indiana, United States.
In the footage, as the speaker announced the panel, the Dalai Lama started tickling and touching Lady Gag’s leg after noticing that she was wearing ripped jeans.
He ticked her leg and then proceeded to do the same to the singer’s other leg, but before he could do so, Gaga held his hand and prevented him from touching her leg.
Meanwhile, the speaker, who noticed that the Dalai Lama was touching the musician, could be heard saying, “If I can get their attention,” before the audience laughed out loud.
“I have a feeling we will start to see more videos,” one person commented under the video.
“He has figured out that if he does it in the open, that everyone will think he’s just playing around. He’s a pervert,” a second said.
“This dude needs to go home. he does NOT lead as an example anymore. I bet most of his followers are now scratching their heads about what to do or say,” a third wrote.
