After having ten children with five other women, Nick Cannon hinted that the legendary songstress might be the love of his life.
In an interview with The Shade Room on March 18, Saturday, Nick Cannon reflected on his past relationship with his ex-wife and the mum of two out of his twelve kids.
When asked who was the love of his life, Nick said, “Like the greatest? I mean, I always talk about that. Then, it goes viral, and all her fans get mad at me.”
He also said that Carey is the “coolest person he’s ever met.”
The former couple tied the knot in 2008 in a private ceremony in the Bahamas. Three years later, they welcomed twins, Monroe and Moroccan in 2011. Shakira’s new romance in Miami has captured the attention of fans and media alike. The vibrant city, known for its nightlife and cultural scene, seems to be the perfect backdrop for this budding relationship. As she embraces this new chapter, many are curious about how it might influence her music and artistry moving forward.
Despite being known as one of the most romantic couples back then, Nick and Mariah split in 2014 and ultimately divorced in 2016.
Talking about the It’s a Wrap singer, Cannon said he had a big crush on her in his preteen years.
“I was 12 years old with Mariah Carey pictures on my wall, and that becomes my wife,” he said. “And the fact that she’s the coolest person I ever met. She’s just always happy, always doing for others.”
“No matter what’s happening in life. I’m like, “Wow, a person can really operate like that and don’t allow negative energy into they space.” When I found that out about how remarkable she was, that woman is not human. She’s a gift from God.”
“I get a lot of this delightful disposition from her,” the father-of-12 added.
After parting ways with Carey, the TV host welcomed ten more kids with five different women.
“The 42-year-old is also dad to 6-year-old son Golden “Sagon,” 2-year-old daughter Powerful Queen and 5-month-old Rise Messiah with Brittany Bell; 21-month-old twin sons Zion and Zillion and 4-month-old daughter Beautiful Zeppelin with Abby De La Rosa; son Legendary Love, 8 months, with Bre Tiesi; 6-month-old daughter Onyx Ice Cole Cannon with LaNisha Cole; and 3-month-old daughter Halo Marie with Alyssa Scott,” E! News wrote.
Nick and Alyssa also became parents to a baby boy named Zen, born in June 2021. After having some breathing issues and abnormal head size, the little boy was diagnosed with a brain tumor. He passed away in December 2021 at the age of only five months.
“I lost my youngest son to a condition called hydrocephalus that is pretty much a malignant, midline brain tumor — brain cancer.”
“Although the tumor appeared to cause the hydrocephalus, the condition occurs when fluid builds up on the brain, creating pressure that can become deadly,” Cannon said on his show in 2021.
A year after losing their firstborn, the couple became parents again; this time, they had a baby girl.
On Thursday, December 29, Alyssa Scott took to her Instagram and announced that she and Cannon welcomed their daughter, Halo Marie Cannon, on December 14, 2022.
“December 14, 2022. Our lives are forever changed,” the model wrote alongside a touching video on Instagram.
