OnlyFans star and Kim Kardashian lookalike Christina Ashten Gourkani died of cardiac arrest after her plastic surgery procedure last month.
Gourkani, who went by Ashten G on the internet, died in the hospital where she was recovering after her operation.
Now, a new report suggests that Gourkani died of cardiac arrest due to the silicone injection that was injected into her buttocks by an ‘unlicensed’ practitioner.
As reported by The Daily Post, “San Mateo County authorities are extraditing a Florida woman who is accused of injecting silicone in the rear end of a Kim Kardashian lookalike from Burlingame who later died.”
“According to the District Attorney’s Office. Gourkani hired Vivian Gomez, 50, of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., to assist her with her buttocks enhancement. Gomez does not have a license to practice medicine.”
DA Steve Wagstaffe stated that Vivian Gomez gave several injections of what is believed to be ‘silicone’ to the late model, which became the cause of her death after her heart suddenly stopped beating on April 20.
The accused woman was arrested by the police at Florida’s Fort Lauderdale Airport the same day as Gourkani’s death, and she will be extradited to Redwood City in San Francisco.
After her sudden and tragic passing, her heartbroken family has set up a GoFundMe page to raise funds for her funeral scheduled for next week.
“It is with deep sorrow and an [immensely] heavy broken heart that we have to share the most shattering, unfortunate and unexpected passing of our beautiful beloved daughter and sister Christina Ashten Gourkani,” her family wrote.
The GoFundMe statement also described how the family received a call around 4:30 am in the morning from the hospital from a family member who informed the rest of the family about Ashten’s critical condition.
“In the early morning hours at approximately 4:31 am on 4/20/2023 our family received a tragic phone call from a family member who was frantically screaming and crying histaricaly on the other end of the line….Ashten is dying…Ashten is dying…A phone call that instantly shattered our world and will forever haunt our family for the rest of our lives.”
The family described the incident being investigated as a ‘homicide’ related to a medical procedure that took a turn for the worse and became the cause of their daughter’s death. Ashten’s family said it was a ‘nightmare’ seeing their daughter dying after suffering a cardiac arrest at such a young age.
“After arriving at the hospital shortly after the phone call, our family continued living a nightmare as we were informed that her health and wellbeing had continued to decline in a downward spiral for the worse after suffering from a cardiac arrest.”
The statement continued, “If you knew Ashten, you knew that everyone mattered to her. She was such a caring and loving free spirit that always took the time to bring a smile to anyone’s face she crossed paths with.”
