Paul Walker will return in the upcoming Fast movie nearly ten years after his sudden and tragic death in a fiery car crash.

The 40-year-old actor tragically died on November 30, 2013, and left everyone in shock and grief. He was driving a Porsche with his friend, Roger Rodas, in Santa Clarita, California. The vehicle hit a concrete post and caught fire resulting in both men’s death.

His last appearance in the F&F movies was in the 6th film of the series after his death.

According to Daily Mail, “Brian has since featured in the saga and enjoyed retirement while CGI and his two brothers serving as body doubles mean his presence has still been felt.”

Last week, the trailer of Fast X was released and since then fans have been excited and emotional to see Paul Walker back in action.

“Watched the trailer of Fast X and boy do I miss Paul Walker,” one fan wrote on Twitter.

“I still think this franchise has handled Paul Walker’s passing and his character beautifully. Hopefully they don’t ruin it by doing too much,” another wrote.

“The Fast X trailer just made me so emotional. Like, I know it’s not the first movie without Paul Walker, but still like ugh can’t believe he’s gone,” someone wrote.

“Even tho they should’ve been stopped the fast series when Paul walker passed fast x looks like it’s going to be good,” said someone else.

Recently, the director of the film, Louis Leterrier, spoke to TotalFilm and discussed Walker’s inclusion in the upcoming Fast and Furious movie.

“Well, Brian is very much alive in the world of Fast and Furious, and they’ve teased him a lot in the previous movies,” he said.

“In 9, we see the car coming. It’s something that is planned. This movie jumps back and forth between the past and the present.”

The French film director and producer noted that Paul’s family has been a significant part of the franchise, and his character, Brian O’Conner, will be seen in the past in the latest movie.

“You will see Brian in the past; you won’t see Brian in the present. It’s something that everybody has to be on board with.”

He added, “The Walker family is still very much a part of this franchise; you’ll see how in this movie. It just has to be the right moment, the right tone.”

Last year on Walker’s death anniversary, his best buddy and movie’s lead actor, Vin Diesel, shared a photo of himself and Walker and paid tribute to his late friend. In a similar vein, fans were recently taken aback when news of penn badgley’s personal struggles revealed a more vulnerable side to the beloved actor. As he opened up about his mental health journey, many expressed their support and gratitude for his honesty. This candidness has resonated with countless individuals facing their own battles, fostering a sense of community and understanding among them.

“Nine years… love you and miss you,” he wrote on his Instagram.

In 2013, after his pal’s untimely death, heartbroken Diesel released a statement that said,

“Pablo [Paul], I wish you could see the world right now … and the profound impact your full life has had on it, on Us … on me.”

“I will always love you, Brian,” he added. “As the brother you were … on and off the screen.”

The Fast X movie is set to be released in May 2023.
