My best person.
It shouldn’t come to anyone’s surprise that the best kinds of relationships are the ones that are founded on solid friendships. When you and your significant other have a solid best friendship going on for you as the base of your romantic relationship, then you already have an automatic advantage.
And it really makes sense that the person you should fall in love with is also your best friend. This is the one person you know you can really rely on. This is the one person you know you can just open yourself up to without hesitation. This is the person you are practically going to want to spend most of your time with. This person is the one who is going to push you when you need motivation. Your best friend is going to pick you up when you’re down. This person is the one individual in the whole world who you can really trust with your heart and soul.
You know that your relationship is a strong one because it’s built on the realest and most important things. You don’t build your relationship around the sex. You don’t build the relationship around how attractive either of you are. You don’t build the relationship on the size of each other’s bank accounts. You build the relationship on your friendship; on your companionship. You build your relationship on the fact that you just want to spend the rest of your lives together; and everything else is just a bonus.
When you fall in love with your best friend, you are falling in love with someone who inspires you to be the best possible version of yourself. When you fall in love with your best friend, you become infinitely happier and more fulfilled. You are going to have someone who is going to serve as a positive influence on your life.
You have someone who is always going to support you in your pursuit of your dreams; but this is also a person who is going to call you out whenever needed. This is someone who is always going to believe in your ability to fly but who is also going to pull you back down to earth whenever necessary.

Wow that’s all I can say because I had all of that in my relationship and didn’t know it. I 🙏 that one day the man that I truly love will take me back and let’s cultivate a solid, lasting relationship based on being each other’s backbone.
