What made you give up?
1. Aries (March 21 April 19)
As an Aries, you have opened your eyes to the world of possibilities beyond mere love and relationships. You have discovered that there is indeed more to life than just falling in love with other people. You find more joy and fulfilment in pursuing your goals in your career. You find lots of passion in engaging in your favorite hobbies. You start to feel like love is expendable after all.
2. Taurus (April 20 May 21)
You lose your belief in love because you thought the person who loved you most in this world deliberately chose to break your heart. This was someone you entrusted your heart to. This was the person you gave your entire life to. You thought that this was the person you would be building your future around but as it turns out, everything you thought came out wrong.
3. Gemini (May 22 June 21)
Whenever you witness a relationship that you were so invested in crumble into nothingness, then that’s when you stop believing in the idea of love. You start to get discouraged from the idea of falling in love when you see a love that you once believed to be perfect just start to fail and falter right before your very eyes. It’s like discovering that Santa Claus isn’t real after all.
4. Cancer (June 22 July 22)
You are deeply sensitive and when you get hurt, the pain that you feel affects you so much more than it would other people. You avoid this kind of pain as much as possible and so you try to convince yourself that love doesn’t exist. You try to tell yourself that love isn’t real so that you won’t pursue it anymore because you know you will only end up disappointed again.
5. Leo (July 23 August 22)
You used to be a big believer in chivalry and courtship. You used to be a hopeless romantic in the sense that you always saw yourself as the leading role in a romantic comedy. But you see the relationships all around you and you see that their love is always less than ideal. You start to question your own perceptions of love and you start to grow disinterested yourself.
6. Virgo (August 23 September 22)
You’ve just had too many bad things happen to you in this life. You are a perfectionist as a Virgo. You are always expecting the best out of the people around you. But in the end, you only set yourself up for disappointment because of all your unreasonable expectations. Your idea of a perfect love now just seems more and more unlikely.
7. Libra (September 23 October 22)
You see the people around you completely blur the lines between physical attraction and romantic affection, and you just don’t know if there’s even a real difference anymore. You start to slowly believe that love and lust are essentially the same thing and that real love is just a lie.
8. Scorpio (October 23 November 22)
You’ve just plain to grow a certain mistrust for people. You don’t feel like you could ever really rely on anyone else anymore. You always want to do things yourself because you know other people would just disappoint you. This is the reason why you don’t totally but into the whole idea of love anymore as a Scorpio.

You are just too in love with the single life, and as a result, you start to think that love would only complicate things. You have found that you don’t need to be in a relationship to be happy and so you believe that getting into a relationship might take away from your state of happiness.

You lose your belief in love whenever you witness another separation, breakup, or divorce. You know that these are all too rampant and it makes you question whether love really exists anymore. You think that people are just too selfish to make real loving relationships last nowadays.

You are deeply unemotional to begin with and so it’s not really difficult for you to detach from the idea of love. You understand that we are all vulnerable and mortal beings. Ultimately, everything is coming to an end and so you don’t really see the point in growing attached to love another person. You know that all relationships eventually come to an end because of death or breakups.

You lose your belief in love the more that you witness the people around you use the word so liberally and freely. You think that people shouldn’t be claiming that they love another person unless they really mean it. You hate it whenever you see someone saying that they’re in love even if they’ve only known the other person for just a couple of days. You think it bastardizes the real essence of the emotion.
