Men aren’t as complicated or as complex as you might think. When it comes to love, their minds aren’t necessarily going to be all over the place. Their hearts aren’t going to be so rough and rowdy. Yes, it’s nice to fall in love with the flash of it all. It can be nice to fall in love with someone in grand and fantastical manners. However, you can never lose sight of the basics and the essentials. You always want to make sure that you are with someone who you are always able to satisfy.
At the end of the day, the perks are just perks. And when your love story is composed of only perks, then your relationship becomes unsustainable. Learn to really focus on the essentials. Build on the foundation of your relationship and try your best to make things work. Yes, it’s nice that you are always interested in making your man happy. But before all of the unnecessary pleasures, you really need to make sure that you have all the basics covered.
1. He is going to want open and honest communication from you.
He isn’t going to be the most skilled communicator in the world; but that doesn’t mean that he isn’t going to try to be. And he’s going to want the same from you. He won’t want you to expect him to be a mind-reader. He will want you to be comfortable with really talking to him and letting him know what’s in your heart.
2. He is going to want a woman who is confident, self-assured, and secure.
He isn’t going to want to deal with any unnecessary drama in his life. And that’s why he’s going to want to make sure that you are well put together. He will want you to be a woman who is capable of standing on her own two feet. He wouldn’t want you to be too clingy or needy to the point where you suffocate him.
3. He is going to want to be free from any forms of manipulation.
If you want something from him, let him know. If you want him to do something for you, then talk to him about it. Don’t go behind his back. Don’t be treating him like a tool for your manipulation. Don’t be conniving and scheming against him. Respect him enough to be upfront about what you need from him.
4. He is going to want non-stop growth and maturity from the relationship.
He isn’t going to be content with staying put. He isn’t going to be okay with just being regular. He will always be wanting to grow; and you have to be able to show him the willingness to grow alongside him as well.
5. He is going to want serious commitment, loyalty, and dedication.
He is going to want you to REALLY commit to him. He is going to want complete dedication on your part; the dedication that is required to really sustain this relationship. He will want you to stay loyal to him. He won’t want to worry about waking up one day and finding out that you’ve fallen for another man. He needs to know that you’re really all-in with this relationship.
6. He is going to want generosity and mindfulness.
He isn’t going to want a person who is completely self-centered and selfish. He isn’t going to be with a conceited woman who is only ever really thinking about her own needs and her own sense of happiness. He will want a girl who really looks out for him; someone who really knows how to take care of him. He is always going to want a girl who would be willing to put his needs above her own. And you can know that he’s always going to be willing to do the same for you as well.
7. He is going to want the affection and care.
Of course, you are both supposedly in love with one another and that’s why you’re in a relationship in the first place. But sometimes, you can get too complacent and you forget to manifest your love in the form of words and actions. He’s going to want to actually FEEL the love that you have for him. He’s going to want to experience it first-hand from you if he is going to be happy with you.
8. He is going to want the perfect balance between seriousness and lightheartedness.
A relationship is serious business. And he is going to want to know that you take this relationship with him seriously. He has to know that you aren’t just looking to play around. But at the same time, he’s going to want to have fun with you. And if you are a little too uptight and controlling a lot of the time, he’s just going to get turned off to the idea of being with you in the first place.
