There is so much more to life than loving a person who constantly walks away from you. There is so much more to life than being with someone who obviously doesn’t want to be with you. There is just so much more to life than just chasing after the person who obviously wants nothing to do with you. There is just so much more to life than placing your love in someone who just refuses to reciprocate that love for you as well. You shouldn’t have to settle for that life.
There is such a thing as finding laughter, joy, and happiness in the arms of the people who do love you; the ones who would be willing to take a bullet for you. There is a life wherein you get to go out with your friends wherein you just talk about anything and everything under the sun. There is a life for you wherein you get to experience all the pleasures and wonders of this earth; the ones that extend beyond this one single person who doesn’t seem to love you back. There is a life out there that is designed for you to feel lots of meaning and fulfilment in everything that you do. There are people in this world who would be so willing to just embrace you with open arms and make you feel all the love that you’re desperate to feel. These are the people who would be so willing to heal your brokenness. These are the people who will fix all the broken parts of you.
There is a life for you that is composed of beautiful bright and sunny days that are going to bring loads of color into your life. There is a life that is filled with plenty of flowers, trees, rivers, brooks, mountains, and streams that are worthy of your explorations and adventures. There are oceans and seas with saltwater that longs to soothe your skin. There are sunny beaches that are just waiting for you to dig your toes into them. There are plenty of large fields that you can have beautiful picnics with friends and loved ones in. These are the things you should be spending most of your time on. You shouldn’t be wasting your time chasing after someone who practically has no interest in being with you. That is not a good way to live life. That is a waste of a beautiful life that you have.
There is a life for you to read a multitude of books. These are books that are filled with words that are designed to captivate the soul and narratives that are designed to enlighten the mind. There are so many movies and films that are designed to overload your senses and refresh your imagination. In this life, there is so much good food to eat, delicious wine to drink, and tasty coffee to brew. There are so many places to see and so little time to go to them all. That’s why you shouldn’t really be wasting your chances. You shouldn’t be wasting your opportunities. You shouldn’t be wasting your life away trying to win the love of someone who is obviously undeserving of it all to begin with. There are so many opportunities for you to go out and make memories for yourself. You have a chance to go out and immerse yourself in the world around you. You have an opportunity to experience the many wonderful offerings of this life and yet you’re choosing to just stick to this one dream that clearly isn’t meant for you.
But most importantly, there is a chance for you to seek the glory, love, and happiness that exists inside of you all along. You have a chance to discover what it really means to find love and fulfilment within yourself. You are going to get a chance to get to know more about who you really are on a day to day basis. Because that is life what is really about: it’s a constant process of learning and self-discovery. You learn more and more about who you really are and you take a few risks here and there. You learn more about what your strengths are and where your weaknesses lie. You work to improve on your weaknesses but you also want to capitalize on your strengths. There is a life for you to be your own hero. You get to be the real star of your story. You get to take ownership of your life and there is no better gift in this world.
