Why is it so hard to get over your ex?
1. Aries (March 21 April 19)
You just can’t seem to get over your ex because you don’t know how to cut yourself from that part of your life. As an Aries, it’s difficult for you to move on from something if you are constantly interacting with that thing. It’s the same with love. If you keep on seeing your ex or going to places that remind you of your ex, you are never going to move on healthily.
2. Taurus (April 20 May 21)
The reason why you just can’t gather the strength to move on from your ex is because deep down inside, you really don’t want to. You are very stubborn as a Taurus and you probably already knew that. Your stubbornness is what leads you to falsely believe that you still have a shot at getting back together, and that’s why you can’t allow yourself to just move on.
3. Gemini (May 22 June 21)
Your mind is playing tricks on you and that’s why you can’t get over your failed relationship. Usually, what a lot of people do to move on from bad relationships is to focus on everything that made the relationship bad. But you never take that approach. Your mind seems to block all the bad memories from your head and so you end up always reminiscing about the good times instead. It’s why you can never really seem to move on.
4. Cancer (June 22 July 22)
You just have so many questions about your relationship that you refuse to let go. You always feel like you have unfinished business even when you shouldn’t be feeling that way. It’s just harder for you to find closure than it is for other people and that’s why it’s so hard for you to move on as a Cancer.
5. Leo (July 23 August 22)
It’s really simple for your case as a Leo. You just need to find a new distraction. You essentially like to live your life on temporary highs. You bounce around from one passion to another. And you really can’t move on from your ex until you find someone new to fill that void with.
6. Virgo (August 23 September 22)
You can’t seem to get over your ex because you always allow the idea of your ex to creep back into your thoughts regardless of the situation that you are in. As a Virgo, the reason why you can’t move on is very similar with the Aries. You are constantly reminding yourself of your ex when in fact, what you should be doing is finding things to distract you from thinking about your ex.
7. Libra (September 23 October 22)
You have to let go of the idea that the two of you are meant to be together. As a Libra, you tend to buy too much into the concept of soulmates and destiny. But sometimes, things just don’t work out the way that you want them to and it’s not necessarily something that anyone can rationalize. You just have to be more accepting of the cards that you’re dealt so that you can really move on.
8. Scorpio (October 23 November 22)
You are the very reason you can’t move on from your ex. As a Scorpio, you always bring up your ex during the most random conversations with your friends. You can’t move on from someone you’re constantly talking about. Just take a chill pill and try to veer away from conversations surrounding your ex.
9. Sagittarius (November 23 December 21)
You’re just a natural rebel and that’s the cause for your own emotional torment. You always want what you can’t have, and the very fact that you can’t get your ex back is the reason why you can’t seem to get over them. You are always looking to defy social norms and that’s why moving on is particularly difficult for you as a Sagittarius.
10. Capricorn (December 22 January 20)
You just really need time. It’s as simple as that. As a Capricorn, it takes a lot of time for you to really process your emotions. You really like to overanalyze your feelings before you come to terms with them. And when that’s done, it takes you so much more time to develop a game plan to work your way out of what you’re feeling. That’s why you haven’t moved on yet.
11. Aquarius (January 21 February 18)
You are just too stuck in the past, which is weird. As an Aquarius, you tend to be very emotionless and robotic. But once you lose something dear to you, you obsess over that something for a very long time which makes it really hard for you to move on from it.
12. Pisces (February 19 March 20)
It’s not too hard to figure out why you haven’t moved on from your ex yet. You’re still obsessing over trying to get in contact with your ex and that’s why you can’t seem to get over that emotional hump. You still stalk your ex on Facebook and Instagram. You still ask your mutual friends about what your ex is up to. You want so much to be updated on your ex’s life that you can’t seem to live your own.
