Tom Cruise Has NO PART in Daughter Suri’s Life

16-year-old Suri is ready to go to college in New York to study fashion – her mom Katie Holmes is all there for her, but her dad, Tom Cruise, is nowhere because ‘he has no part in her life.’

According to Daily Mail, a source close to the Dawson’s Creek actress revealed that “Suri, who turns 17 next month, ‘has sent some applications out’ and is ‘leaning towards’ studying fashion in New York City – a choice that would make her style-savvy mother Katie very pleased.”

“Suri is applying to schools all over the place. [Katie] really does want her to stay in New York so they can be close to each other. Katie takes great pride in her but is also extremely overprotective,” the source added. “Katie is overwhelmed by the idea of her daughter going off to college.”

While her mother plays a very active role in her life, the Mission Impossible star hasn’t seen her daughter in almost a decade. How sad is that?

Tom and Katie started going out as a couple in 2005. They were so in love with each other that their relationship was only two months old when they announced their engagement.

In April 2006, the duo welcomed their daughter Suri, and in November 2006, they officially tied the knot in Italy.

After staying for a little more than five years, Holmes filed for divorce in June 2012. According to a few sources, she wanted to protect Suri from the havoc of Scientology.

“Tom Cruise was seconds away from doing what he does best: shooting an adrenaline-fueled action sequence. But as the cameras prepared to roll on June 28, the megastar-in Iceland filming his upcoming sci-fi thriller Oblivion got an unexpected phone call from his wife, Katie Holmes.” People reported in July 2012.

“He was about to do a stunt and got off his motorcycle to take the call. What happened next would shatter Cruise’s world like a case of big-budget explosives: Holmes informed the megastar she was filing for divorce as the film’s crew looked on. Says the source: “He’s been in shock since that day.

In 2019, Us Weekly reported that Hollywood’s Top Gun was not allowed to have any contact with his daughter because of his affiliation with Scientology.

“The last time the actor, 57, was spotted with the 13-year-old was in 2013 — shortly after his ex-wife Katie Holmes blindsided him with her 2012 divorce filing.”

Later one of the former followers of the organization told Us that the sighting was just for the sake of public appearance.

“Maybe he did it for a photo op to make it seem like he was connected so he wouldn’t be criticized.”

According to Hollywood Life, “the last known photos of Suri and her dad are from nearly a decade ago in 2012 when the pair visited Disneyland together.”

In April 2019, an insider told the outlet that although Cruise doesn’t visit Suri because he ‘can’t,’ he never stopped loving her.

“As challenging as things have become for him and his daughter, he still loves her. Tom never intended to be estranged from his daughter when he decided to have a family with Katie, and he looks forward to repairing their relationship one day.”

  1. My thoughts are simple… he’s a one of the biggest, richest, and most famous people in Hollywood. If he wanted to be a part of his daughters life, he could. He’s got plenty of money to fight her in court unless there is some secret that he doesn’t want exposed. Normal everyday fathers will take a second job to pay for legal fees to see their children, this guy is just a POS father.

  2. I disagree. The system is broken for men. Look at Brad Pitt, he sees his kids religiously at a “visitation center” in CA, and Angelina Jolie has dumped millions into organizations that advocate for mothers and domestic violence initiatives. Pitt has all the money in the world and he IS trying, but even he cannot see his kids “unsupervised”. I know exactly how this works, and I have been trying too but have not seen my kids in a year. After awhile guys just give up.

  3. Give up? I’d fight till my very last breath! Not easy granted! I’m sure ur kids wld luv to hear u just gave up! Neva Eva give up!

  4. Tom could find a way if wanted to but he chooses not to see his daughter. He portrays to the world he is a wonderful man man but is a terrible dad. Just because you pay child support and will pay her college tuition doesn’t make you “father of the year”. I’ve read many other articles than this one and it’s Tom decision not to see Suri. He will just financially support her. Katie is doing a great job on her own!

  5. The only thing I remember about Tom Cruise is him jumping on Oprah’s couch like a fool professing his love for, “somebody,” This was right after he got rid of the blonde. He doesn’t seem to be able to keep his women for long.
