Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott Split After 18 Years of Marriage

Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott are calling it quits after nearly two decades of marriage.

“It’s with great sadness and a very very heavy heart that after 18 years together and 5 amazing children, that @torispelling and I have decided to go our separate ways, and start a new journey of our own,” Dean wrote in a now-deleted post on Instagram.

“We will continue to work together as loving parents and guide and love our children through this difficult time,” he added. “We ask that you all respect our privacy as we take this time to surround our family with love and work our way through this.

“Thank you all for your support and kindness,” he penned.

The couple tied the knot in May 2006 and renewed their vows after four years in May 2010. They have five children together – daughters Stella Doreen, 14, Hattie Margaret, 11; and sons Liam Aaron, 16, Finn Davey, 10, and Beau Dean, 6,

The announcement came only one day after the 50-year-old Beverly Hills, 90210 star posted a series of photos of her family enjoying a day out at the Beverly Hilton hotel in California, where the celebrated their daughter Stella’s birthday.

“Back to my zip code… @beverlyhilton hotel has been such a huge part of my life. Went there with my family growing up and now I’m lucky enough to be able to take my own family,” Spelling wrote.

“#beverlyhitonhotel gave us the most wonderful experience for @stella_mcdermott08 15th birthday. Penthouse suite, cabanas, cakes, the works. Tbh it was hard to leave 😂. Family time is the best time and @beverlyhilton you continue to always make us feel like true family. We love you! xoxo #90210.”

Reacting to Dean’s now-deleted post on Instagram, many fans sent their best wishes to the couple and expressed their sadness over the news.

“I’m wishing your family all the best from here on in for the future. Life throws some curved balls indeed, I’ve had a f–ken few thrown at me, however onwards & upwards for you guys,” one wrote.

“Sorry!! May you continue to be partners in parenting,” a second said.

“I wanted you both to Make it Forever, I really did. Love you both, x. Those children are such an Amazing extension. of All The Love you two shared, wishing you both peace & happiness from here on, a third commented.
