True love is complicated and that’s okay. Sometimes, the things that make love so difficult to handle are also the things that make it worthwhile. Love is the single most beautiful and enchanting thing that a person could possibly experience in this world. It can make you feel like you are flying as close to the sun as possible without necessarily burning yourself. But sometimes, love does end up hurting you and that’s fine. It’s part of the deal. Love is about going home after a long day at work to find that all of your stresses, worries, and insecurities in life go away the moment that you catch a glimpse of your partner’s face. Love is about being able to find the comfort of home in another person. Love is about being beautiful together but also ugly with one another. Love is about laughing in some moments and crying in the next. Love is about whispering sweet nothings into each other’s ears today. And it’s also about shouting at the top of your lungs at one another on the next.
