A TikToker explained why more ladies choose to stay single than in relationships that won’t benefit them in any way.
In a little public service message, user @hey.raela took to her TikTok account and explained why more and more women are choosing to remain single now.
“Here’s a lovely little PSA that nobody asked for,” she began her video. “You wonder why the divorce rate’s so high? You wonder why there’s so many women in the 20s, 30s, 40s, that are not in relationships or are not getting married just because they plain don’t want to? Or why there’s so many single moms in the world right now?”
Raela continued, “It’s very easy, very simple. Women are not accepting the bare minimum.”
“If you want to be a partner, please be a partner,” she said, adding that men need to equally need to participate in a relationship because when at the end of a long working day, a husband comes home and simply lies down or spend time playing video games on the couch.
On the other hand, a wife comes back from work and does the work around the house, including taking care of the children, doing laundry, cooking, cleaning, and multiple other things.
“If you want to be in a relationship, please give benefit to someone. I can pay my own bills, I can make my own food, I can raise my own kids.”
“I understand that you’re tired at the end of the work day, but so am I,” she said to the men out there.
“But guess what. Someone has to do the laundry, someone has to make dinner, someone has to watch the kids. If you’re not going to do that with someone, then just don’t do it, because we can do it all ourselves. And we have a lot less socks to turn right-side-in in the laundry.”
Although Raela, turned off the comments on her post, the clip was viewed by over 1 million people on the platform.
This is a valid argument as more and more people are advocating for equal participation by both men and women in relationships. Recently, a leading US divorce lawyer has stated the same thing in his now-viral TikTok video and explained the ‘major theme’ behind the failure of most marriages nowadays.
“I am seeing working moms doing it all,” family lawyer Dennis R. Vetrano, Jr said in his video.
“And I am seeing the husbands step back and say, ‘Huh, I don’t gotta do a thing! She’s got the kids, she’s got the groceries, she’s got the laundry, she’s got the meals, she’s got the work. And by the way, she’s making all the money, and she’s paying for the house, and doing everything else. I’m going to go to the firehouse, I’m going to go play this, I’m going to go hang out with my friends.’”
He added, “That’s the theme. And women are tired.”

Well clearly uneducated but let’s put it this way, if you want to hold all.mem under the same umbrella then men should do the same, in which case you are leading to a war on genders that will eventually lead to violence. If you want to do that I will say men don’t want women who use children just so they can get a house, who don’t put in the effort themselves.
