Marriage is a sacred bond between two people who vow to share both the good and bad of life together. But, in a world where cheating exists and ruins relationships, many marriages suffer because one or both partners take undue interest in someone outside of the marriage.
Today’s story is about Bridgette Davis – a 36-years-old influencer who went through two massive traumas. One was the loss of her husband who you shared ten years of life and share two children with – that’s traumatizing enough. But she also found out that her husband had a mistress – another massively heartbreaking thing to go through.
She shared a video on TikTok where she talked about the strange text messages exchanged with the mistress.
After finding out about the mistress, Bridgette texted her to tell her about her husband’s death. Upon receiving the sad news, the woman replied with four text messages:
“F**k.”
“I can’t believe this.”
“I can’t, I’m losing it. I can’t do this again. He promised me.”
“Can I go to where he was buried?”
Bridgette replied, saying:
“No.”
A lot of Bridgette’s audience on TikTok was on her side and supported her decision, while others told her that she was being too cold and insensitive about it.

“I’m shocked at some of the comments. The fact you let her know, you’re too nice and that was some curiosity when you were given none!”
Annie said:
“And she ASKED IF SHE COULD GO SEE HIS PLOT? I swear some people can’t read a room.”

“The ‘No.’ said more words than you could ever say 😂”
In an update video where one of her audience members asked if the mistress knew that Bridgette’s husband was married, she responded by sharing a few more text messages she and the mistress exchanged.
Bridgette texted her, saying:
“You know he was my husband for 10 years right?”
“That we have two amazing kids together? That I homeschool?”
To which, the other woman replied:
“He said 14 or 16?”
“Yes”
“I know a lot about things. He needed support, he told me him and I were peas in a pod”
Bridgette, heartbroken and continually traumatized by finding out things about her late husband, responded:
“We have been together 16…”
“I know nothing about you. Other than he said you weren’t his girlfriend and he broke things off with you…”

Our hearts go out to Bridgette. She’s left without a husband, raising and homeschooling two children by herself. And above all of that, she also had to deal with the mistress – Bridgette is a true queen for staying strong through all of this, lots of love and respect your way!
