With a Net worth of $1.4 Billion, Rihanna Becomes The Youngest Self-Made Female Billionaire in America

Robyn Rihanna Fenty, NH, popularly known as Rihanna, is an American actress, fashion designer, and businesswoman. She was born in Saint Michael and raised in Bridgetown, Barbados, in February 1988.

The singer rose to fame when she released her first music album ‘Music of the Sun’ in 2005. Then just after a small gap of one year, she released another album called ‘A Girl Like Me’ in 2006. Both albums were a massive hit and topped the US Billboard 200 chart.

She won her first Grammy award in 2007 for her single ‘Umbrella,’ making her a global sensation.

Recently Forbes revealed that the Barbadian singer is in the 21st place in its annual list of America’s wealthiest self-made women; this officially makes her the youngest self-made billionaire in the United States of America.

However, despite being one of the top-selling music artists of all time, Rihanna’s music wealth is not so much.

Her major riches come from her side businesses and mainly from her cosmetic beauty brand, Fenty Beauty.

According to Forbes, the Umbrella singer is not only the world’s richest female musician but also the first billionaire of her home country, Barbados.

Talking about some of her business ventures other than her cosmetic line, RiRi has also invested in the Savage x Fenty lingerie line, which was valued at one billion dollars in early 2021.

The music icon also owns a Beverly Hills mansion worth 13.75 million dollars and her own helipad that she bought for 10 million dollars.

According to Forbes, Rihanna is the 21st richest woman in America, Oprah Winfrey is the 10th, and Kim Kardashian is the 16th wealthiest woman.

Talking about her becoming the youngest billionaire experience, the singer said,

“You know, it was real weird getting congratulations texts from people for money.” She told Access.

“I never got congratulated for money before. That s*** is crazy.”

“It made sense when I realized that it was inspiring to people, that they felt like this is something that they could achieve knowing where I’ve come from.

She further added, “Knowing my humble beginnings, they see the possibility, and it gives them hope. That made me feel really happy.”

RiRi said that despite being a filthy rich celebrity now, she wants to be humble and keep her feet on the ground.

“It’s scary. I do think about it all the time. I make it a point to think about it, because I get scared when the pedestal comes into play and people put you up there and keep wanting to put you up there.

“I wanna feel my feet on the ground because I know it’s not gonna be a fall at all if anything, right?”

Previously, while talking to the New York Times, Rihanna said, “My money is not for me; it’s always the thought that I can help someone else. The world can really make you believe that the wrong things are a priority, and it makes you really miss the core of life, what it means to be alive.”
