Woman Who Received 5,000 Boyfriend Applications Reveals Seven Key Reasons Why They All Failed

A woman named Vera Dijkmans had 5,000 men apply to be her boyfriend, but none of them succeeded. Vera tried to find love through TikTok and got a lot of interest, but she is still single. Out of the 5,000 men who applied, she said only three were even close to being suitable.

Vera, who lives in London and has over seven million followers on social media, shared that she asked men to fill out an application to be her boyfriend and received 5,000 replies.

The London resident, who has over seven million social media followers, revealed that she received 5,000 responses after asking men to apply to be her boyfriend.

“I asked men to fill in an application to be my boyfriend and received 5,000 replies – but only three fit my strict criteria,” she said. “I went on a date with them – but I’m currently still single.”

“Despite this disappointing result, I still consider the experiment a success since I was able to be upfront of what I want and see which men fit that criteria. I had to filter through quite a lot of strange applications,” she continued.

One of the men offered her a sample of his blood and asked for hers in return, but she ignored it.

“I also had a famous person slide into my DMs; I can’t say who it is, but I definitely didn’t expect it. Most of the applicants were from Texas and a lot of them had the Aquarius star sign,” she added.

To apply to be Vera’s boyfriend, men had to fill out a questionnaire with different questions to see if they met her strict standards. The questions included whether they had a full-time job and if they lived with their parents.

Other questions on the questionnaire asked whether the applicants owned a functional car, if they currently had a casual sexual partner, whether Vera would get the walk-in closet if they lived together if they enjoyed watching Avatar (ATLA), and who they considered the best artist among The Weeknd, Future, Drake, or Travis Scott.

Although Vera found the challenge enjoyable, she has decided to pause her quest for love for the time being.

“I wouldn’t do another application process online. If I do it again, I will probably make it a real life event,” she said. “At the moment, I’ve put the boyfriend search on hold but I’m keeping my options open. I’m just very picky and I need a guy to be almost perfect.”

The TikToker concluded, “I don’t think I should have to compromise on my needs – I’d rather be single until I find the man I’m meant to be with.”
