Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez have been in the news since the Grammys took place on Sunday in Los Angeles.
During the show, the 50-year-old Batman star looked uninterested and even bored from his facial expressions as he sat next to his gorgeous wife, Jennifer Lopez.
While J.Lo seemed to have a blast at the award ceremony and enjoyed it throughout, Ben didn’t look interested at all.
People have not only been making memes of Ben’s ‘bored person’ facial expressions during the ceremony but also speculating what the couple really spoke about that made people believe that they were arguing in the middle of the star-studded ceremony.
Some said they were fighting because J.Lo was pissed that Ben wasn’t having any fun at the event. Others assumed that he was intoxicated and just wanted to go home.
However, a woman who sat next to the couple during the event shared what they really talked about and what actually happened.
In a now-viral TikTok, a woman named Anna, who goes by the username, AlmostAnna on the platform, told her followers that Bennifer was talking about Ben’s expression going viral and turning into a meme during the event.

“I sat next to Ben Affleck at the Grammys,’ she began. ‘Me and my seat filler friend Jake and Ben Affleck was right there,” said Anna in her video.
“I was next to them for a good bit, that was my favorite seat because I was right in front of Beyonce… So I didn’t know the meme about Ben Affleck being upset at awards shows, like I didn’t know that was a thing, and we also didn’t talk to them because Ben Affleck didn’t look happy so I didn’t want to talk to him and be like, “Oh my God, Good Will Hunting is one of my favorite movies! You’re my hero!”
She continued, “I was just so lucky to be next to them! The whole time they were cute and s**t… JLo showed Ben Affleck the phone and was like, “Oh my God, honey, look at this meme circulating about you!” And he was like, “Oh God, this again.” Like he knew during the performance that he was a meme!”
The TikToker said that the Argo star knew people were sharing his ‘disinterested’ face on the internet while he attended the award show. Yet he didn’t change his facial expressions or pretend to be interested.
“Like he knew, and he also chose just not to change his expression! Like I love how unbothered that is! So I know that she was like on her phone and saw it and was like, “Honey, this is so funny, look at this.” And he was like, “Jesus Christ.”
“But they were super lovey dovey, like their hands were always intertwined. I don’t know how to describe it. But they just were! So it wasn’t like, “Oh my God, this is going to lead to divorce!” Like, they were cute!” she said.
She also said that the couple left the show early, and while they were doing so, Affleck accidentally lifted his wife’s dress a little higher than he intended.
“Also they left early and Ben took the skirt of her dress and lifted it up too much! And JLo was like “Honey!” It was really silly,” she laughed as she recalled the funny moment.
“Its funny how the media makes things out to be something they are not , thank you for the clarification & the truth,” one person commented on Anna’s TikTok video.
