9 Uncomfortable Signs You’re In A Relationship With A Terrible Guy

If he makes you feel uncomfortable, then maybe he isn’t the one for you.

You’ve got to learn to really listen to your instincts if you want what’s best for you. Sometimes, you can get really lost in a sea of feelings and emotions that you end up convincing yourself that everything is fine even though it’s not. That’s what happens a lot in love and relationships. That’s the reason why so many girls just stay in relationships that make them feel unhappy and unfulfilled. It’s because they aren’t brave enough to confront the truth even though it’s staring them right in the face. They feel so uncomfortable in the relationship and yet they still believe that it’s the better alternative as opposed to just being single. Perhaps you might even be like that. Perhaps you might even be trying so hard to convince yourself that your relationship is going fine even though it isn’t.

Hey, it happens a lot. But you also have to know that you can’t let that happen to you if you don’t want to end up wasting your time and getting hurt. You always need to be your own guardian. You need to be looking out for yourself because no one else is going to do it for you. If you’re feeling uncomfortable in your relationship, then there’s probably a reason for it. Perhaps your subconscious is trying to point something out to you that you’re just deliberately choosing to ignore. Now, of course, relationships aren’t always supposed to be easy. Even the strongest kinds of relationships have a few speedbumps and roadblocks on the journey. But it shouldn’t be a state of constant discomfort either. If you constantly feel uncomfortable in your relationships, then something is inherently wrong and you need to do something about it. Here are 10 uncomfortable signs that you’re in a relationship with a terrible guy.

1. You find yourself always questioning his intentions with you.

You don’t know if he’s genuinely in love with you or if he’s just using you. And if you find yourself constantly questioning his motives and intentions, then it’s probably because he hasn’t given you enough reason to be sure with him.

2. You never expect him to come through on his promises.

You always just think that he’s going to fail or under-deliver. He’s done it so many times in the past that you practically just ignore him whenever he makes promises to you. You know he’s only going to get your hopes up and then disappoint you.

3. You don’t think that he will be able to live up to your simplest expectations.

It’s reasonable for you to have expectations in a relationship. And it’s also reasonable enough that he wouldn’t be able to live up to your grand expectations. But if he isn’t even living up to the simplest ones, then you know that you have a real problem.

4. You find yourself daydreaming about what it would be like to be in a relationship with someone else.

You get the sense that it’s all just a game to him. You can’t really tell if he’s taking it seriously or not. To you, it seems like he’s treating your relationship like a game. He’s toying with your feelings and emotions and that’s just not the right way to go about love at all.

5. You never expect him to say sorry to you after he does something wrong.

He is the opposite of remorseful. He is the opposite of regretful. Whenever he does something wrong, he just goes on as if nothing happened. He carries on without a care in the world about how his words or actions might have impacted you or other people.

6. You find yourself walking on eggshells around him because of his impatience.

He is always so easy to set off. He is very short-tempered and he has very little patience when it comes to you. It’s like even the slightest comment would be enough to have him yelling at you.

7. He walks away from arguments instead of staying to finish them.

He shows signs of immaturity by refusing to engage in difficult conversations with you. He doesn’t have the temperament or the maturity to be able to have a healthy form of conflict with you. He hates confrontation and he would rather run away from his problems.

8. He’s only ever nice to you when he wants something.

You can tell that he’s only ever really being nice to you if he wants you to do something for him. He always has an ulterior motive. Whenever he doesn’t need you, he doesn’t really pay you much attention at all.

9. You never expect him to be telling you the truth.

It’s unfortunate whenever you find yourself questioning every little thing that comes out of your man’s mouth. It shows an utter lack of trust – and when there is no trust, there can definitely be no love either. That’s the truth.
