Earlier this month, on June 1, 2022, the Virginia Court concluded the defamation trial between Johnny Depp and Amber Heard and ruled in favor of the Pirates of the Caribbean actor.

The seven-member jury unanimously announced its verdict, stating that the actress had defamed her ex-husband through her 2018 op-ed and wrongfully accused him.

The Aquaman actress wrote in the Washington Post that she was domestically mistreated. Although she didn’t explicitly name Johnny Depp in her op-ed, it was pretty evident she was blaming him.

In response, Johnny sued her for fifty million dollars for wrongly accusing him of being a horrible husband.

Heard then countersued him for a hundred million dollars by accusing him of setting up a “dirty campaign” against her and calling her claims” A blatant lie.”

Ever since the court’s verdict, Amber has been in hot water; millions of people criticized her on social media and celebrated Johnny’s victory against her; not only this but pro-Johnny Depp supporters started different petitions on change.org to ban the actress from Hollywood, once and for all.

In her interview with NBC, the actress shared that following the trial, she had not been getting any new work offers and is currently in a difficult financial situation.

According to the verdict, Amber has to pay 10 million dollars in damages to Johnny Depp.

Last Friday, the legal teams of both Amber and Johnny once again met at the court to reach a settlement; the attorney tried to make a last-minute agreement to reduce the damages that Amber owes to Johnny.

However, they couldn’t settle anything, and the Judge officially ordered the 36-year-old actress to pay the damage money – $10.35 million.

Judge Penney Azcarate also ordered the ‘Edward Scissorhands’ actor to pay $2 million in damages to ex-wife Amber Heard. While the Judge made the jury’s decision official, none of the two actors attended the court meeting this time.

Now the real question is how Amber Heard will pay the damages to Johnny Depp.

A source close to the actress revealed that she thinks her acting career in Hollywood is over because of the huge backlash and hatred she had received from thousands of people worldwide.

Heard’s lawyer Elaine Bredehoft also told NBC that she cannot pay the damage money and will appeal the verdict.

“You don’t ask for a pardon if you are innocent. And, you don’t decline to appeal if you know you are right,” Heard’s spokesperson told the New York Post.

Two weeks ago, the actress was spotted bargain shopping at TJ Maxx in New York.

Now, Marca reports that Heard will most likely sell the expensive gifts she received from her billionaire ex-boyfriend Elon Musk.

Among the many gifts from the South African billionaire was a Tesla Model X car.

“The electric vehicle can go 628km on a single charge and boasts 1,200 horsepower. Despite being quite a big car, it can do 0 to 100km/h in 2.1 seconds and has a top speed of 250km/h.” wrote Marca.

It is a well-equipped version of the Tesla car that costs around 130,000 US dollars. It seems like the Aquaman actress has to get rid of her extravagant gift car to pay Captain Jack the debt money.

  1. I personally think that Johnny Depp as a man of great character and the fact that he has proven his innocence should relinquish her from this debt. Je is already offered how much for his returning roll as Captain Jack.

    1. 1) She needs to quit defaming him still.
      2) She needs to sign off on an agreement not to appeal.
After thats done…. Neither should owe the other anything.
      But she wont settle.
Also There is no deal for JD to return to pirates.

  2. She should pay every cent. That way she will think twice before doing it to someone else. Narcissist have a tendency to believe that they can get away with any and everything. She must pay her dues. She caused enough damage.
