During her appearance on The Late Late Show with James Corden on Monday, Cara said that she felt so proud watching RiRi perform at the big game.
“So fun though. I felt so grateful to be there and I’ve seen her play a lot of times, but it just felt so historical and amazing. I felt so proud. I cried.”
The 30-year-old supermodel also showed her support for Rihanna by wearing a shirt with her name on it.
“Rihanna concert interrupted by a football game, weird but whatever,” the text on her shirt read.

Cara’s shirt was from Savage x Fenty’s Game Day collection and was sold out as soon as it was released.
The 34-year-old Barbadian singer put on an amazing performance in front of a worldwide audience of millions at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, where the Philadelphia Eagles and the Kansas City Chiefs were competing.
This marks her first appearance on live television since 2018 when she teamed up with DJ Khaled to sing “Wild Thoughts” at the Grammy Awards.
Rihanna kicked off the performance while suspended high above the stage on a platform, singing her hit song “B**** Better Have My Money.” She was sporting a loose-fitting scarlet jumpsuit that hid her figure and was loosely secured on her. The Suicide Squad actress appeared on The Late Late Show to promote her new Hulu documentary, Planet Sex.
“I thought I was a pretty open person who knew a lot about these subjects myself, and I realized I didn’t,” Cara told James. “I wanted to discover a lot, but I also wanted to make this show kind of take the stigma away to talk about these subjects.”
She added about her documentary, “It was an emotional, vulnerable, funny journey.”
“I love meeting people and in other cultures, especially how that differs in terms of religion and age, and it was amazing.”
