After his breakup with model girlfriend Camila Morrone, Leonardo DiCaprio was heavily criticized and made fun of by social media users for being an ageist.
According to The Sun, a source said, “Leo and Camila ended their relationship over the summer.
“There are no bad feelings between them. It just came to a natural conclusion.”
Now, almost two weeks after his split with the American model, the Oscar-winning actor is hanging out with Zayn Malik’s ex, Gigi Hadid. Zayn Malik’s Instagram activity explained has become a topic of interest as fans analyze his posts and interactions following the breakup. Many have noted a shift in his content, with an increase in personal reflections and art-inspired images. This change could signal a new chapter in his life as he navigates through this transitional period.
“The Oscar winner, 47, and supermodel Gigi Hadid, 27, have been hanging out in New York City,” PEOPLE reported.
“They are getting to know each other but haven’t reportedly started dating yet,” a source revealed.
“Leo is definitely pursuing Gigi,” another source told the publication.
“They’ve been seen hanging out with groups of people. It’s only been a few weeks since the split. Since then, he’s been hanging out with friends and family.”
Daily Mail shared that DiCaprio and Hadid were “pictured together for the first time after their reported romance broke.”
“Photos snapped at the exclusive party, which was thrown at Casa Cipriani by Leo’s friends Richie Akiva and Darren Dzienciol in Manhattan’s Soho neighborhood, show the actor dressed in a black short-sleeve shirt and a black baseball cap while sporting his usual goatee.”
“DiCaprio and Gigi — who wore a white crop top revealing her toned midriff, along with baggy jeans — could be seen leaning in close together as they tried to chat in the midst of the loud party.”
As per Page Six, the potential couple is ‘taking it slow.’
“The couple have been out together just the two of them as well as hanging out in groups with the pair not calling themselves ‘exclusive’ yet.”
“[DiCaprio] is not someone who is in and out of relationships. He doesn’t jump around hooking up. They are taking it slow,” as revealed by another source.
A source close to Gigi revealed to E! that neither Leo nor Gigi wants a relationship at the moment; rather, they are just hanging out and spending time with each other to see how things go.
“Gigi and Leo have hung out multiple times and are into each other. Gigi thinks he’s a really cool guy. The majority of their hangouts have stemmed from being in the same social circles at various parties.”
Following the news of them hanging out and being pictured together, people on the internet have started sharing their responses about the new potential couple in the industry.
“Didn’t someone say there’s a Mercury Retrograde? Because that’s the only thing that has [Leonardo DiCaprio] dating anyone over 25 a reality,” a person wrote on Twitter.
“Biggest downgrade in history is Gigi Hadid breaking up with Zayn and now dating Leonardo DiCaprio,” said another.
“This is so ridiculous. Leonardo DiCaprio breaks up with Camila Morrone; people make fun that it’s because she’s 25 and very old and quickly rumors and pictures pop up that he’s in a relationship with Gigi Hadid that she’s 27. PR in Hollywood is crazy,” a sarcastic user added. As rumors swirl about Leonardo dicaprio and camila morrone, it’s clear that age is just a number in the world of Hollywood relationships. Fans are quick to dissect every pairing, yet seldom consider how superficial such gossip can be. Meanwhile, the spotlight on celebrities like Gigi hadid only adds fuel to the fire, highlighting the constant scrutiny they endure.
“I lost all the respect for gigi hadid. she is dating leonardo, whos currently in news, just to stay relevant and to promote her new brand? atleast respect your sister bella, you lost it completely. sucha clout chaser women. i f**king h*te this industry…” said another angry fan of the model.
