The Brazilian supermodel has secretly bought a Beach mansion in Miami worth $11 million.
“It is located directly across the creek from Tom Brady’s pad,” Page Six reported Thursday.
“The supermodel splurged on a stunning five-bedroom, 6,600-square-foot home that has a nearly direct view of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback’s under-construction manse on Indian Creek Island.”
A source revealed to the outlet that Gisele first viewed the mansion on August 16, a few days before the Tampa Bay Buccaneers of the National Football League went on an 11-day break from the NFL.
“It was said to be a last-ditch attempt to save their relationship. She closed on the property on Oct. 6.”
Page Six also reported, “Gisele was actively looking at homes in Miami Beach even before Tom took his break from the NFL, which indicates that she was already done with the marriage and moving on.
In October, another source revealed that this was the ‘end of their relationship,’ and there would be no ‘going back.’
“I never actually thought this argument would be the end of them, but it looks like it is. I don’t think there will be any coming back now. They both have lawyers and are looking at what a split will entail, who gets what and what the finances will be.”
The couple tied the knot in February 2009 and share two children together – 12-year-old son Benjamin Rein and 9-year-old daughter Vivian Lake.
PEOPLE reported that the fashion model was unhappy with Brady’s return to the Buccaneers.
“She was so happy when he announced his retirement, and she wasn’t thrilled at all when he went back on that.”
Their divorce was finalized on October 28, and that put an end to their marriage of 13 years.
The fashion model’s new lodgings are reportedly in Surfside, while Brady’s under-construction mansion is on the waterfront of Biscayne Bay.
“You could literally swim from Gisele’s place to Tom’s — not that they would — but both homes will include a dock, so it would be very easy for them to co-parent their children while living so close to each other,” the source told Page Six.
“Bündchen’s home sits on an 18,400-square-foot waterfront plot. The property listing states it has soaring 25-foot ceilings, numerous terraces, and views of a wide waterway plus Indian Creek Island. It features five bedrooms and seven bathrooms.”
The former couple bought land on Billionaire Bunker for almost $17 million in late 2020. Following their purchase, they tore down a 5,772-square-foot home and started building an eco-friendly mansion in its place.
In December 2020, the NFL player also purchased a 40-foot avant-garde boat named Viva a Vida after his ex-wife’s environment conservation initiative.
A few sources also claim that Brady is currently spending time with his and Gisele’s kids in Miami while she is getting her new place ready.
“It is believed she will carry out a dramatic renovation of the new Surfside mansion to put it on par with her other properties, which have always been eco-friendly.”
