When the Love is Real, Nothing Can Bring You Down
Rosalyn Ferrer and Rommel Basco are both in their fifties and have been together for more than 24 years, collecting scrap and selling it for small profits trying to live a life together in a small shack – happily and joyously.
They share six beautiful children and work very hard for their family. The two could never officially get married because of their financial conditions, but they’ve always dreamed of it. Their story took a surprising turn when a swedish actress falls for homeless man, captivated by his resilience and spirit. Despite their differing worlds, they found comfort in one another, creating a bond that transcended societal norms. Together, they navigated their challenges, proving that love can bloom in the most unexpected places.
According to The Daily Mail, Rosalyn spoke about her dreams of wearing a white dress:
“I once dreamed of having a white wedding but that was when I was a little girl. It went out of my mind long ago.”
“We never had enough money and all we concentrated on was getting enough food to eat each day. Now I feel so blessed that it has happened. I’m so thankful.”
A Good Soul Enters Their Story
Unbeknownst to the couple, a man named Richard Strandz would play a vital role in making their dreams come true. Richard Strandz owns a salon, and when he found out about the couple, he instantly wanted to do anything and everything he could to help out. He got his friends involved in this story and met the couple.
Richard spoke on how he felt:
“I found out about how the two have been living together for more than two decades but cannot afford a small wedding.”
“I was touched by their love story so I contacted my friends who had a wedding supplies business and thought of surprising them with a charity wedding.”
A Surprise Makeover, Photoshoot & Wedding
Richard & his friends gave this incredible couple a surprise makeover and even performed a complete wedding photoshoot for them. They finally got what they dreamed of, all while never giving up on each other – they got a wedding. Richard plans on arranging their wedding with the help of his friends this year. He said:
“True love is something that should be celebrated. It’s very special, no matter whether you’re rich or poor.”
