Jennifer Lawrence was the world’s highest-paid American actress in 2015 and 2016, with movies that grossed over six billion dollars at the box office.
Lawrence also made it to the list of 100 most influential people in the world in 2013 and Forbes Celebrity 100 list from 2013 to 2016.
Her notable projects include The Hunger Games, Red Sparrow, Silver Linings Playbook, Serena, and the X-Men series.
The Oscar-winning actress is married to a New York-based art gallerist, Cooke Maroney, and also shares one baby boy named Cy with him.
According to Us Weekly, the pair started dating in 2018 and were reportedly introduced to each other through one of their mutual friends.
“Things between them are very serious. “Cooke plays very coy when speaking about her to his friends and colleagues. He is clearly smitten with her,” a source revealed to the outlet back then.
In February 2019, the X-Men actress got engaged to Maroney. Later in June, she sat in an interview with Entertainment Tonight, opened up about her relationship with him for the first time, and said he is the best man she’s ever met.
“Well, he’s just the best person I’ve ever met in my whole life. It was a very, very easy decision,” she added about accepting his proposal.”
Jennifer and Maroney got married in October 2019 in Rhode Island. Speaking of her marriage in an interview with Vanity Fair, the actress said,
“I really enjoy going to the grocery store with him. I don’t know why but it fills me with a lot of joy. I think maybe because it’s almost a metaphor for marriage. ‘Okay, we’ve got this list. These are the things we need. Let’s work together and get this done.’”
In April 2022, Lawrence became a mom for the first time and gave birth to a sweet boy whom she named Cy.
In her recent interview with Vogue, the Red Sparrow actress talked about mothering.
“It’s so scary to talk about motherhood. Only because it’s so different for everybody if I say ‘It was amazing from the start,’ some people will think, ‘It wasn’t amazing for me at first,’ and feel bad,” she said.
“Fortunately, I have so many honest girlfriends. Who were like, ‘It’s scary. You might not connect right away. You might not fall in love right away.'”
“So I felt so prepared to be forgiving,” she added.
“I remember walking with one of my best friends at, like, nine months, and being like, ‘Everyone keeps saying that I will love my baby more than my cat. But that’s not true. Maybe I’ll love him as much as my cat?'”
But according to Jennifer, her life changed altogether after the birth of her child.
“The morning after I gave birth, I felt like my whole life had started over. Like, ‘Now is day one of my life.’ I just stared. I was just so in love. I also fell in love with all babies everywhere. Newborns are just so amazing. They’re these pink, swollen, fragile little survivors. Now I love all babies. Now I hear a baby crying in a restaurant, and I’m like, ‘Awwww, preciousssss.'”
“My heart has stretched to a capacity that I didn’t know about. I include my husband in that.”
