Johnny Depp Was Seen Smiling During Kate Moss’ Testimony

Depp was seen smiling while Kate Moss testified against Amber Heard during his defamation lawsuit.

Heard is being sued over an op-ed she wrote for The Washington Post in which she claimed to be a public figure representing domestic abuse.

It is expected that the highly publicized trial will conclude this week, with Moss taking the stand to discuss the incident Heard alluded to earlier in the trial.

The ‘Kate Moss and stairs’ reference follows previous testimony from Heard in Depp’s defamation case against The Sun, in which she said: “He was about to push her down the stairs and the moment before that happened, I remembered information I had heard that he pushed a former girlfriend, I believe it was Kate Moss, down the stairs,” as reported by the Independent.

According to Moss, she never had anything to do with Depp’s alleged push, and instead ‘slid down the stairs’ following a rainstorm while on holiday at the GoldenEye resort in Jamaica.

Moss testified: “We were leaving the room, and Johnny left the room before I did and there had been a rainstorm and as I left the room, I slid down the stairs and I hurt my back.

“And I screamed because I didn’t know what had happened to me and I was in pain.”

“And he [Depp] came running back to help me and carried me to my room and got me medical attention.”

She then was asked whether Depp had pushed her down the stairs in any way that day, and she replied: “No.”

Depp then asks Moss if she ever felt pushed down the stairs during their relationship, and Moss responds: “No. He never pushed me, kicked me, or threw me down any stairs.”

Heard brought up Moss’ name earlier in the case, which gave his legal team the opportunity to call Moss to the stand. Depp could be seen smiling after the testimony, and earlier the legal team evidently celebrated when Moss was called to the stand.
