The Marvel star remains in critical but stable condition following the weather-related accident.

The 51-year-old actor suffered blunt chest trauma and orthopedic injuries while plowing snow near his home in Lake Tahoe on January 1.

A spokesperson of Renner stated that the actor has undergone two surgeries following the accident and remains in critical but stable condition in the hospital’s intensive care unit.

The actor has been hospitalized in Nevada, where he was taken after getting critically injured.

“We can confirm that Jeremy has suffered blunt chest trauma and orthopedic injuries and has undergone surgery today, January 2nd 2023. He has returned from surgery and remains in the intensive care unit in critical but stable condition,” Renner’s representative told Deadline.

It has been reported that the Hawkeye actor was the only one involved in the accident, and an investigation is currently in process.

The sister of Jeremy Renner revealed new information about her brother’s health on Tuesday. Here is an excerpt of what CBS 13’s Steve Large reported she said:

“We are overjoyed with his development. Jeremy is a fighter who doesn’t play around, according to anyone who knows him. He is exceeding every goal for improvement. We are quite optimistic about the journey ahead.”

Now 51, the actor will star in a four-part Disney+ series called Rennervations, which centers on building special vehicles for local communities.
